Everyone I seem to talk to tells me how wonderful being pregnant is, thing is I have felt like shit the whole way through! Also hear alot about lower back pain but mine is at the top of my back and the ribs under my boobs feel like they're on fire! Anyone else ?

I alternate between ribs on fire and totally numb. I can't get out of bed or roll over without my legs being clamped together. Apart from that I quite like being pregnant Grin

Don't get me wrong I love all the wriggles when she moves but it's just everything else! I'm always convinced I've got preeclampsia or hellp syndrome! Seem to have developed severe hypochondria with pregnancy!

I should have added chronic heartburn actually. That waking me up at 4am is probably the worst.

Another one with back pain, both upper and lower! Had it since about 20 weeks and it's spreading to hips now. Seem to have escaped heartburn but was practically bedridden for 2 months with severe sickness in first trimester. Can no longer see or reach my feet.

Keep waiting for that glow...

Getting lower back pain, sickness is trying to creep back in, had sickness till about 21 weeks, getting leg pain, getting heartburn, tiredness, 'bruised feeling' down there, but still loving every minute!! All totally worth it

I've been having the same upper back & rib pain (35 weeks). Also occasional hip ache. I'm still trying to find the answer: all I know is that I'm now a nighttime nudiest as clothes make it worse lol x

Yes! You have my sympathies. I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow and my ribs are excruciatingly painful at night. In fact, it's been so bad I just visited my GP to check it really is normal to hurt this much. Turns out it is, especially for a short-arse like me Sad Baby is literally living up inside my ribcage right now.

She advised ice packs and sleeping sitting up at night. Apparently it might ease off if/when baby engages, though that could take another month yet. I've had PGP for months but am finding the rib and upper back pain even worse. Wish I could fastforward to my due date right now!

I agree petcat, due date seems so far away!! Mines may 31st x
