I've seen this on offer www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/3774319/c_1/1|category_root|Baby+and+Nursery|33005732/c_2/2|33005732|Sleep|33008394/c_3/3|cat_33008394|Nursery+furniture|33011300/c_4/4|cat_33011300|Nursery+furniture+sets|33022873.htm?Price+Cut=1

(Hope that's worked!)
Thing is I'm only 20weeks and have so long to go! I'm sure this will come back on affer at some point but as I have the money now thought maybe I should just get it?
I only have until tomorrow so what does everyone think?

If you have the money I would get it.
Just bear in mind you might need to build it to check its all ok before your 28 day credit period. Maybe check with them before you pay what would happen if you built it in 8 weeks say and there was a part missing or a fault. Everyone is different, I have a friend who bought a cot at 8 weeks, and another at 38 weeks!!

Thanks for the reply, being a first time mum I'm thinking, do I really need all that but I could pay £200 for a cot alone. I have briefly seen this cot and wardrobe up at a friends house and looks sturdy and well made and because of the price it just screams but me now Smile

We bought a cot at about the same stage, glad we did as everything we saw after it was really expensive. But yes, do check all the bits when you first get it, rather than waiting until the baby is born.

Ps. congrats! Grin

I would, if its a good offer. You can't wait to by everything at the last minute!

olivertheoctopus · 01/04/2013 20:49

Buy! 20w isn't too early at all, I like to be prepared.

ButteryJam · 01/04/2013 20:52

Its not too early. If you feel its a good offer go for it! Plus it'll take you a while to assemble too.

Lydia161290 · 02/04/2013 10:09

20 weeks is not too early, in fact, I think it's a good time to start buying bits here and there. I did. I'm 23 weeks and my cot is already set up (my partner got over excited)
But I think a lot of it is just superstition! Get stuff while they're offers on.

Thanks for all your replies ladies
This offer was to good so I had to get it.
murder I think your right I just know that everything I see now will definitely be more expensive!

butteryjam I think I may have to build it myself, if I leave it to the DP it still won't be done by the time the baby is here Grin
