Braxton Hicks in second pregnancy

Is it normal to have loads more braxton hicks in second pregnancy. I'm getting so many and I didn't have many at all in my first pregnancy! I'm 32 weeks by the way.

Thanks

Yes, I had loads more with my second. Labour was much faster too, some said that it's your womb getting in training...

I had tons of BH the second time. Came like clockwork every night about 2am from about 32 weeks. My actual labour started at 2am and the baby arrived at 3.55am. She was ready to roll and I'm sure it was all the BH. My friend said to be she felt I had actually had a very long (8week) labour rather than a very short one. I think it's good to have them as its practise.

Well they're quite regular-every evening. I'd like to think that they're my uterus practising etc but I don't want a too quick labour as I'm still trying to work out childcare for my first!

Yes, 2nd pregnancy and I've been feeling them since about 16w. 28w right now and I get them quite a few times a day, especially when exerting myself (we live in a property with lots of stairs) or when I'm outside and cold.

I actually had many more BH with my first than my second. Not sure why?
