hot flushes at 37/38 wks

I've read about hot flushes at night after giving birth but not while pregnant. The odd night I've woken in a real sweat, even though it's totally freezing in the bedroom. Anyone else experienced this? Is it just another hormonal thing?

Yep. Totally normal. Wake up drenched every night since about 30 weeks, despite 4.5tog duvet and cool house. Same with dc1. Joys of pregnancy....!

I had no idea, good job I bought the waterproof sheet in early then! Thanks for replying, thought my body was going into some weird early meltdown...quite literally!
