Obstetric Cholestasis / Cholestasis in pregnancy questions

Two questions really:

-If you had this, when did your symptoms start? How bad was the itching & where?

-Anyone who has had this again in a subsequent pregnancy?

I had this in my first pregnancy and I don't remember when I started getting itchy, probably around 34-35w. I'm 27+5 now and last night I felt quite itchy all over, including palms on hands & soles of feet. I thought OC didn't really occur until later in pregnancy. I'd really hoped for a natural labour this time so am a bit anxious/worried. I've got a midwife appointment soon so will definitely raise these things, but just wanted to read about other people's experiences with this in the meantime.

Hello
It is usual for OC to start in the third trimester. Mine started at around 24 weeks with my bile acids very raised so it isn't impossible for it to start sooner. I think you should probably ring the hospital and see if they want to get you in for blood tests a bit sooner. Sorry. Hopefully just a false alarm but best to be on the safe side.
