This is my third pregnancy last year I had two missed miscarriage both at 9 weeks which ended with DandC. They did lots of blood test back then and found out I have blood clotting disorder and also mthr. Now Im taking heparin injection and aspirin every day and this pregnancy I felt a bit different than the previous ones. Before never had nausea but know I felt it a bit, I couldnt eat certain food or coffee, I had back pain and I was tired. I had a scan 2 days ago, but it was only a nurse she said its ok, their is a hb and bye bye. But today all my symptoms are gone... I will have another scan 3 weeks time but I am so worried I could just cry. But is it normal? All symptoms can just go???

Hi didnt want to read and run. I also experienced a mmc last yeat, so when i fell pg this time around i was very anxious (still am at 29weeks!) But when i was 8weeks my symptoms also faded, i suddenly didnt feel sick in the morning, boobs werent as sore etc. I nearly paid for a scan after having a scan on nhs the week before showing a heartbeat. Well anyway...the symptoms returned and i was all fine. But some days i felt better than others and the mind plays tricks sometimes.

Sorry to ramble, but the first 12 weeks are so hard and i know how it feels to drive yourself nuts and over analyse things. Try to hang in there and if you cant wait then go and see your doctor and insist you need a scan, its better than worrying. Good luck

((())) Hugs for you and11 - it's scary when it all suddenly disappears - same happened to me at 9 weeks, I panicked and went for a scan, all was fine and I'll be 40 weeks tomorrow. So it can be perfectly normal for symptoms to come and go. Keeping fingers crossed for you x

workingonitagain · 20/03/2013 19:54

i know how you feel. this is my 4th pregnancy but i had a mmc last december. im only around 5+5 and it drives me crazy just to think that there is a chance that i might end up with a mmc again. i have a private scan booked for when im 8wks. i feel very nauseous but then i felt sick with my mmc even when the baby stopped growing altogher so it doesn't put my mind to rest at all. So sorry i really can't offer you any advice but i have my fingers crossed for us that everything will be ok xx

Hi I just wanted to add that I am 8 weeks today by my dates, and in the last week my symptoms have noticeably lessened. All I have now is really sore boobs. I have been worrying myself sick that something is wrong, but don't even have a midwife app for another 2 weeks so no chance of being scanned. It's frustrating, I just wanted to say you aren't alone in feeling like this. Maybe it's something in particular that eases things around this time in pregnancy? We all seem close in dates and have similar concerns. Hope you have a happy, healthy pregnancy xx

elsabel · 20/03/2013 20:15

ldt87 you dont need to wait for your midwife appt to be seen. I was very anxious when i was in my first few weeks so saw my gp and he referred me for a scan to put my mind at rest. So dont feel like youre on your own for the first few weeks, youre not. Good luck

abbyfromoz · 20/03/2013 20:17

Get yourself a doppler machine- not sure how early these work but you might find it reassuring to hear hb whenever you like xx

scarlettsmummy2 · 20/03/2013 20:21

I had no symptoms with my second pregnancy after being sick all day every day with baby one. I was demented. Don't worry!

ldt87 · 20/03/2013 20:51

I am going to wait, as much as it is driving me crazy, the gps at my surgery are so hard to get an appointment with and the receptionist is a bitch so I don't want to call. I rang at 5 weeks to let them know I was pregnant and to make my first appointment and was told it was far too early to be worth making an appointment as anything could happen yet! I was mortified, I hadn't expected an early appointment, just wanted to be in the system. She's horrible, and won't book a doctors appointment without the reason so no doubt would not make me one. I am just trying to stay positive, I was going to have an early private scan, but as my husband said, it still doesn't guarantee anything and what will be will be. He would rather spend that money later on when there is more to see lol.

abbyfromoz · 20/03/2013 21:23

ldt sorry your doctors receptionists are sh*@ (been there) i suggest if you want an appointment just ask to book a doctors appointment and don't tell the receptionist what for. She doesn't need to know. You should also be able to do so online. 5 weeks is not too early to have a consultation.

ldt87 · 20/03/2013 21:53

There is no online booking at my doctors. I am waiting it out now as I'm 8 weeks and only 2 more until I see the midwife. I'm hoping my midwife is nice as I am new at this surgery.

and11 · 20/03/2013 23:40

Thank you very much for everyone still of course feel so anxious. I didn't have these pregnancy symptoms before so I really want them :) to ldt87 definitely u don't need to way the midwife ap last time I went to er early pregnancy to have a scan. I could do it again but I'm scared to see the result. I guess I just need to calm down somehow, and see the symptoms will return.
finger cross to all of us :)

Hi there

I'm sorry you are having this worry. When I was almost 8 weeks I had some brown spotting. This coincided with a loss of morning (and night) sickness syptoms for a couple of days. I was so worried and worried that I had to wait a few days for a scan. Then the symptoms came back strongly! I had my early scan to check all was ok the week after the spotting and baby was there with its wee heart pumping away. I do get occasional days when I feel better than normal and I try to enjoy them now. Equally I get some really rubbish days!

I hope this helps a little.

Hi OP. I'm on heparin too and its my 3rd pregnancy.
If it's any consolation. I have never had 'symptoms' with any of my pregnancies. But in this one I had quite a bit of lower back and adbo pain for a few weeks which worried me. That has subsided now (I'm about 8 weeks) but have never had any sickness, sore breasts ect.
Please just remember you are anxious and every pregnancy is different. Keep calm and just believe its going to be ok. I know that is really hard with the other MC's. I really hope things go well for you. Remember that sometimes the heparin can actually make you feel better too in yourself - if your blood is sluggish beforehand. Funnily enough all my aches and pains went once I started on it again!!
Keep your chin up x
