I saw my Midwife 2 weeks ago when i was 30+5, i see her again tomorrow at 32+5.........
I was only measuring 27cm so was sent for growth scans which revealed bubs was measuring small for dates but not worryingly so...... they said they didnt need to see me again for a further scan and i was sent on my way.......fluid was also at an acceptable level........ however....... although bubs moves about like crazy, which i know is a good sign, i don't feel i have grown at all, infact, if anything, i think i have gone smaller, if this is even possible....... i have only gained at a push 10lbs throughout the whole pregnancy, nothing compared to the 4st i gained with my son (now 16mths) and my sister who is 20weeks pregnant looks alot bigger than me, she is abigger build anyway but still........
I know i see midwife tomorrow but i am losing sleep worrying about it all and i feel i have no-one to turn to, 3pm tomorrow seems a long way away........ can anyone shed any light on what may happen if bubs hasn't grown again...... she had only grown 1cm in 5weeks last time....... i do have a feeling she may have been lying horizontally a couple of weeks ago but i am now getting constant jabs in the ribs so think she has turned head down now......
Any advice would be greatly appreciated girls xxx

I gained 4st with 1st he was born 6ib 8. Had a fair bump on me. Second time I wasn't showing till 35wk measured on the smaller side, only gained 3ib bump was tiny everyone said your babys going to be so small. He actually was 9ib. I wouldnt worry too much on the size of your bump every pregnancy is different and it totally depends on how there laid too. Sure your baby will come out a nice healthy size, mine certainly did :) sure your midwife can put your mind at ease tomorow xx

Im 33+3 and my bump looks really small. No one can believe Im 33 weeks. MY friend who is 27 weeks looks bigger than my bump.
I had midwife appts last week and she was measuring 25cms so was sent for a scan. I had one at 28 weeks for the same reason.
Everything was/is fine. Baby's head is really low so the midwife could not measure due to the pubic bone (i think)
Maybe its the same for you.
As long as you can feel regular movements I think you should be fine.
If your midwife is anything like mine and gets a small measurement she will probably send you for another scan.

When pregnant with my son i definatley took advantage of the "eating for 2" so think this is where i gained the weight as he was only 6lb 11oz, with this pregnancy though i am never really hungry...... i lost 6stone once he was born leaving me at a tiny 6/8 and only just weighing 7stone..... having suffered with constant morning, afternoon, evening sickness with this pregnancy up until 30weeks i think this may be the reason for my smaller appearance, like i say she is moving around in there beautifully so shouldnt really be that worried..... good things come in small packages ey,lol xx

maybe she will send me for another scan..... i dont mind this as i would rather everything be ok with bubs, they are just being cautious i suppose, fundal measurements are never 100% accurate i have heard...... maybe i am worrying over nothing, as i only feel i havent grown, i don't know for certain until i see midwife tomorrow afternoon xxx

bubs is still measuring small and has only grown half of what they expect at this stage...... as i have consultant appointment next wednesday midwife hasn't sent me for another scan, although she did find it strange that the hospital didn't request for me to have another one 2 weeks after my last one, which would have been today....... she has asked me to ask my consultant if he would like me to go for another scan to chack that she is growing ok? They are really starting to worry me now with all this growth concern....... she is also breech at the moment which should work in my favour next week as i am pushing for a c-section....... i have been asked to monitor her movement closely too which again has put me in a little bit of a panic and when she isnt moving i am constantly worrying, ,which i know isn't good for bubs either...... compared to my first pregnancy this one has been very hard and i really can;t wait to meet little miss now, although, i would prefer her to cook a little longer and actually grow a little more..... another waiting game now to see consultant on wednesday.... i have however been warned that my appointment may be cancelled as the last 2 weeks of clinic have been.... just gets better doesnt it,lol,...... midwife has said she will get me to see someone on the thursday though should this be the case as she feels i really need to see someone before the easter bank holiday...... no panic then.......
