I know it can take many weeks yet, as I'm 35 plus 1.
I was excited to hear my baby has engaged by 2 to 3 fifths.
What were your experiences with first baby? How long did you have to wait? Smile

It means nothing at all sadly. Been engaged for weeks, now 39+3 and no sign of baby coming yet. First babies are most likely to be up to a week late, so be prepared for another six weeks yet :)

Try not to look for signs that things are going to kick off or that you are going to be early, it drives you mad! this is my first and people have been telling me it could be "any day" for weeks. It won't be. I am prepped for going another 2 weeks yet.

I know, it's wishful thinking! Well at least once I finish work this week I can concentrate on my nesting!

:) Being grumpy and uncomfortable aren't signs either BTW, if they were I'd have had my baby weeks ago!

Enjoy your maternity leave, mine has been a bit shit due to SPD and insomnia. Do what you can xx

Snap sundae and I've got six weeks to go! With DD1 I was engaged at 34 weeks - she arrived at 42+1 via EMCS.

DD was well engaged at that point, I was induced at 40+15 Grin
