Hi all wanted to share my news with u ...... Due on yesterday thought I'd do a test and it was with e and also a cbd POsITiVe soooo happy but nervous at the same time xxx when would u recommend to tell family xxx

Congratulations! It's up to you really when to tell, some people wait until after 12 weeks to make it public knowledge, but I told my nearest and dearest sooner than that.

Congrats!! I am telling our parents next week as I will then be 6 weeks and I'm having a scan then so will tell them after that but not telling anyone else until 12 week scan xx

Guessing you've been trying for a long time. I told people early if I'd want them to know for support if anything went wrong. The family who I thought would just get upset if I mc I didn't tell til after the 12 week scan.

Huge congrats! Sounds like you also had a long wait to get here, me too, and it feels amazing doesn't it!

I was about 7 weeks when we told parents and siblings, and then waited till the 12 weeks scan to tell all our freinds and rest of the family. It seemed like a long time to wait, but was so worth it to be able to tell people and show them the scan photos, was all the more magical. But it's totally up to you, people will be so happy for you whenever you tell them.

congratulations! i'm 10 weeks and haven't told a soul (apart from DH!) and don't intend to until y 12 week scan. part superstition, part cant be doing with the constant (even if well meaning) questioning) !

I recommend you tell family whenever you want. I struggled to contain my news long enough for my husband to get home from work and hear it first. As soon as he knew, we told our mums and my dearest friend. His mum kept it to herself until after the 12 week scan, whereas my mum was on speed dial to the entire universe and his dog. :o

I waited until after 12 wk scan (which dated me at 14 wks!). My DD is now 7 mo but I really enjoyed being pg so I come back to this forum often. Such a special time.
