I'd want to know how old and how / where it was stored. If you aren't sure best to get new though as there's enough to worry about IMHO.

Guidance is to change it. But, if it had been only used a couple of times, no sick/leakage on it, stored in room rather than loft and less than 2 years old, I'd probably use it. Depends a bit on how tight things are financially, if money not an issue then change it.

The guidance that every child gas a new mattress has now been dropped. As long as it has a waterproof cover, the foam inside is clean and it is in good condition, it will be fine.

Been given mattress now. Cover is washable, its been kept in a wardrobe inside its plastic cover. I'll probably keep it as its immaculate. Thanks all
