Sorry if wrong forum...but I want to shout it from the rooftops!
After the trials and tribulations of the past 9 months, from dreading telling DP (surprise baby), through total exhaustion, a generally textbook pregnancy, going overdue right up to a bit of a nightmare labour, she is finally here!
Unfortunately she turned back to back between last sweep and going into labour, and managed to present with just a temple and an ear - the rest of her all twisted up almost like a corkscrew. Labour was tough thanks to her not applying to the cervix, lack of dilation, back labour, failed epidural and I never thought I'd cry with relief when the doc said he was going to EMCS (36 hrs to get to 5cm).
Just hours later I'd forgotten it all, Stow jnr arrived 7.44pm on Monday evening. Ohhh I never realised how deeply, deeply in love I would be with her!
I'm off back upstairs to gaze at her a bit more now.
