anyone found any maternity tights that actually stay up?

On third pregnancy and rediscovering why I hate maternity tights, 2 different brands so far tried and with both I have ended up with the gusset falling down to my knees by the end of the day! I have tried sizing up but they are even worse. So anyone found any that stay up?

Haven't washed them yet but quite pleased with a pair I got from Jo-Jo Maman Bebe. I'm a small and they only had medium and its actually been just fine.

AmberLav · 27/02/2013 20:55

My pair from Jojo haven't stayed up yet! An old mothercare pair were much better, but I've lost them!

Littlemissexpecting · 27/02/2013 20:55

I got some from Debenhams and they are pretty good. I got size small and I'm a 10, they stayed up over bump all day too

dinkystinky · 27/02/2013 20:56

Hmm one of the fall down pairs was from JoJo sadly. Will give mother care a go. Thanks both.

No.

caramelgirl · 27/02/2013 20:57

Only if I tuck a vest or t shirt in. Then they'll stay up all day. Super foxy look...

MadCap · 27/02/2013 20:58

Have you tried the Mama Spanx ones yet. I found they helped with beginning of pgp too.

dinkystinky · 27/02/2013 21:05

Camel - may end up having to give that a go - bloody things!

Right - debenhams and mama spanx being added to the to try list...

Try hold-ups instead?

mamababa · 27/02/2013 21:10

H&M mama were the best I had and not too pricey either.

MissingDietCoke · 27/02/2013 21:11

H&M Mama ones have been my pregnancy staple! Now 38 weeks and still staying up fine!

dinkystinky · 27/02/2013 21:12

Ooh 2 votes for H and M Mama tights sounds promising!

H&M Mama and Eastern European ones off eBay

All others were saggy rubbish.

Until you get a big bump the M&S medium support ones are good.

AmandaPayne · 27/02/2013 21:15

Yup, I did hold ups. You can even get opaque ones if you dig about.

Havingkittens · 27/02/2013 22:12

I have some knitted Noppies ones from Pretty Pregnant which are only just starting to fall down occasionally at 34 weeks (I've had them since about 14 weeks).

LadyMetroland · 27/02/2013 22:18

Jojo ones fall down and waistband/bumpband doesn't come high enough

M&s similar but marginally better. Always out of stock though (like everything decent in Marks and Spencer)

I wear pg leggings from boden which are like really thick tights but without feet, obviously. Only thing is I only have one pair and can't justify expense of buying more for such a short time.

happyjustobeme · 27/02/2013 22:20

I found h and m to be brilliant all the way through to term. About £8 a pair I think.

Springforward · 27/02/2013 22:29

Mothercare ones are holding up well at 26 weeks here.

helebear · 27/02/2013 22:30

I have taken to wearing a pair of knickers on top of my(h&m and m&s) maternity tights to keep them up as I'm so sick of ending up with the crotch of my tights by my knees!

CityDweller · 27/02/2013 22:41

I have two pairs and both stay up - mothercare and M&S. The mothercare ones are more comfy though, and they also withstood me taking a flying fall in them and grazing my knee (but somehow they didn't rip or ladder).

ChairmanWow · 28/02/2013 05:24

Another vote for Mothercare. Also Blooming Marvellous.

MisselthwaiteManor · 28/02/2013 05:42

Another fan of H&M ones here. I've been wearing them since the first hint of a bump and they haven't fallen down.

jaffajiffy · 28/02/2013 06:35

Another vote for hold ups here - and you can wear them post pg as well.

TeaOperated · 28/02/2013 06:41

H&M mama and mothercare both brilliant for me - and I'm both tall and curvy, which is something tights manufacturers don't normally allow for. Both still staying up - and providing light bump support - at 36 weeks.

Dh2812 · 28/02/2013 06:45

Debenhams. they have stayed up so far.
