6w1d absolutely no symptoms, mild cramping weeks 4-5 which has subsided now. I get very occasional slight twinges here and there but apart from that nothing else :/ my boobs don't hurt at all, iv not had nausea and I'm not particularly tired. I know I shouldn't complain but as it my first I am petrified something is wrong. I read that not having morning sickness means you are more likely to
Miscarry :( I have a private scan booked when I will be 8+2 for some reassurance.
What I'm really wondering is, when did you symptoms kick in/if they kicked in at all? I find myself wishing I felt sick just so it feels more real. I even took a cb digital last week just to make sure I was still intact pg and it came up pregnant 3+ almost immediately.
Sorry for moaning

I was just like you and one day (6+1) it all hit me and the nausea and vomiting is far the worst I have HG and been on a drip because I'm so dehydrated. Enjoy the fact your pregnant and soon to be a mummy :) you may be one of the lucky ones and not have any symptoms..oh how I envy those lucky ones right now been throwing up every 15minutes from 5am! This has to get better :(

SillyBlueHat · 27/02/2013 09:45

I had no symptoms whatsoever with my first. Just count yourself as one of the lucky ones!

Bejeena · 27/02/2013 09:45

I found out when I was 6 weeks didn't have any symptoms until I was about 7 weeks. I felt fine until then like you. I couldn't tell you about 4-5 weeks perhaps I had some cramps at 4-5 weeks which I hadn't put down to pregnancy purely because we didn't know.

I don't think anything is wrong and I am sure one day soon it will just hit you. For me it started with being exhausted in the afternoons before feeling nausea. But that soon came with a vengence at 7-8 weeks and every morning as soon as I woke up I felt rough.

I am sure everything is fine with you, sounds like it.

This is my first pregnancy too and I am now 15+1.

Congratulations.

I'm sure you'll have your face inches for the loo soon. Enjoy it while you can.

Also you say you've had no symptoms, but you've had a positive test and I guess no period.

WorriedMary · 27/02/2013 09:48

I didn't have much nausea with my two pregnancies. And I wasn't sick at all, I just felt tired from around 8 weeks.

Try not to worry.

SeriousStuff · 27/02/2013 09:48

I know it's hard not to worry, but at this stage I would say, make the most of it! My first few weeks, I was feeling great apart for some cramping and sore breasts. Then 6+5 weeks hit and I've had nausea non-stop ever since!

If you search the threads here, some women will tell you that they had barely any symptoms for the whole 9 months! Then others are sick throughout. Everyone's different, you just have to trust at this stage that your baby is doing what it needs to do in order to grow. Try and enjoy it - the scan will come round quickly in the end, I promise!

vamosbebe · 27/02/2013 09:51

Mine kicked in round about the 6 week point. I threw up sporadically for a month ('morning' sickness my arse !) and suffered horrendous nausea until the end of first trimester (but no further vomiting).then I had no other symptoms until months 7-birth when ds's head was bouncing on a nerve in my pelvic floor! No tiredness, no cramping, no BH, no cravings, no hair falling out. Didn't feel extra-horny either, I was very jealous of those who were Envy

TinkyPeet · 27/02/2013 09:52

Enjoy the symptom free window! I had nothing at all untill about 9-10 weeks and it hit me like a sack of bricks! X

janey1234 · 27/02/2013 11:35

I'm 21 weeks and counting, and so far have had no symptoms at all really except constipation at about 16 weeks. I was, of course, worried sick about it, but all has been fine so far. I still don't feel pregnant really, except a bump and feeling the baby moving occasionally.

So basically, try not to worry and enjoy it - we're the lucky ones! Wink

I'm pregnant with my first, had my 12week scan on monday.
I didn't know (so no obvious symptoms) untill I had a pre-op assesment and found out afterwards. My baby is healthy and everything is on track, try not to worry :)

EuroShaggleton · 27/02/2013 12:01

I'm a day behind you (6 weeks today) and also pretty much symptomless. I have sore boobs and have been suffering with insomnia (which I had no idea could be a symptom) since 2 days before my period was due, but that is it. No tiredness, no nausea. Cramps on two occasions so far, but that is it. I have an early scan tomorrow, at my IVF clinic, and I am terrified there will not be anything there. I'll report back afterwards on the Oct 2013 antenatal thread if you want to see how I got on.

Teapig · 28/02/2013 20:25

Try not to worry, easy to say I know. I don't think lack of symptoms means you're more likely to have an MC, every pregnancy is different so if you try to compare yourself to others you'll probably just end up worrying for now reason.

I'm 33 weeks now with my first and I haven't had any symptoms. I get the old bit of back ache and heart burn now I'm pretty far along but that's about it. My big bump and baby's kicks help remind me I'm preggars, you might have a very easy ride.

Try not to worry

LadyKinbote · 28/02/2013 20:31

I don't think there is any correlation between symptoms and MC. My strongest symptoms during pregnancy turned out to be a MMC (have two lovely DC now so I'm very lucky!). An early scan is a good idea for reassurance though.

ButteryJam · 28/02/2013 20:34

Enjoy your current state, make the most out of it! When the symptoms come, it can be so awful, so honestly enjoy yourself :)
