Has anyone used it during their labours? I'm not exactly sure what it is used for or how you use it...Does it actually do anything at all?

Please share your experiences!

Thanks in dvance

Got given some last time and told not to open it untill 2 days before EDD then to have some in bath. Was 10 days early so don't know if it would have worked - hope someone else can say.

I used it, in the week running up to EDD, in the bath - it gave me great braxton hicks. In the actual event labour was quick and easy and I never thought about the clary sage - didn't have time, but I bet (for me) it would have definitely helped strengthen contractions. Smile

I bathed in it, I covered my pillow in it, I inhaled it - I practically drank it...I was still 15 days overdue.

It stinks and doesn't work

My contractions stopped but my Midwife massaged my hands with Clara sage and within an hour our two they had started up again, much stronger than they we're previously.

During my first labour when my contractions had stopped progressing my midwife used it to boost things again, and it worked.
