Ok so grateful this has been a relatively straightforward pg so far but omg the constipation :-(

Got seriously blocked last week ended up spending all of Saturday alternately pacing around, lying in bed and crying in pain. DP went to late night pharmacy on Saturday night and got some lactulose, worked a treat, felt much better yesterday... but then for some random reason (wasn't even on the pot at the time) a giant pile popped out later on that day and is now killing me.

It is the most trivial thing but it hurts like hell! Can't concentrate on anything else and feeling v v sorry for myself. How in hell am I going to survive childbirth if I can't even cope with painful bum??

Thanks for listening, not looking for advice or solutions really just wanted a whinge and some sympathy! I am such a baby :-(

any haemmorroid (?) cream that you put in, up and on your bum should reduce it pretty quick

you may still get the joy of midwife/health visitor checking them for you. With your dp in the room.

It would have popped out during labour even if it hadn't have popped out now Grin

And you'll do fine giving birth.

Probably not the best time to talk about afterwards though Grin

I can completely empathise! I have a whole cluster and made the mistake of peeping at them in the mirror this morning - the horror! Anusol did eff all for me so I got procto-something-or-other from GP which has helped as I was in so much pain! Had the same with DS and they did disappear after the birth so hoping this is the same!

Cool thanks guys! May ring GP tomoz to see what else is safe during pg as anusol does not even touch this pain! Really hope it goes back in soon constant pain turns me into such a joyless grump! Visions of begging midwife to hold it in during labour, lol!! Would love to see in mirror just for curiosity. Too inflexible and pg, can hardly even reach round. Feels massive!
