Just wondered if anyone has purchased the stokke mini/ sleepi package and whether you would recommend it. I've shopped and shopped and its my fave/ preferred choice and it would makelife so much easier for us in our tiny house but it is very costly. Money isn't an issue but I'd rather not spend so much on something if it isn't worth it. I only have a few weeks to go so I need to make a decision asap!

Cheers xx

Do you mean the stokke cot? We had it for our DS. We used the mini crib bit when he grew out of the Moses basket (and when I was sick of climbing over the end of the bed to get out for a wee in the night!!) it was very handy that it was on wheels too. And we used the large cot when DS went to his own room. We found DS slept well in it and i liked the height adjustments and the fact he didn't get stuck due to the oval shape. Also you can save by using any brand of elasticated cot sheets (we used tesco&mothercare) as they fit just as well as the stokke ones but are much cheaper. I wouldn't bother with the other extra stokke bedding either as I just used normal stuff that worked just as well.
We got a deal as we bought it at the same time as a lot of other stuff. Have you looked at online places to see if you can get it cheaper? I'd say its worth the money. Don't even need to have separate Moses basket but ours was borrowed so used it anyway. Good luck! Hth.

Thanks trouble, I do mean the cot. That's really helpful as I was going to buy the fitted sheets etc I've seen a good deal for 600 pound, I don't think ill get it any cheaper than that. It comes with the drape rod but not the drape, I may just have to splurge in that and maybe the bumper quilt?? I don't want a Moses basket and cribs look too big for our room, I was hoping this would be our only bed purchase (our pram converts to a Moses basket for downstairs)

We have the stokke mini and cot - used for both boys and will use for DC3.Don't bother with drape and rod - irritated the hell out of me with DS1. Great you can roll the mini cot from room to room too.

I bought the drape rod but never got round to buying the drape! I think it was probably as waste to buy the rod in the first place! I think £600 sounds like a great deal. Ialso bought the bumper but didn't really use it for long so was also a waste of money IMO but obviously it's up to you! If you want you can get bits to add to make into a bed for when DC gets older and even converts to other stuff but we didn't buy the extras.

Mothercare have it for £429?

What does your package include?

We have the Stokke sleepi and love it! It's great that it's on wheels, it meant we could transfer DS into it while he was still sleeping in our bedroom (we didn't have the mini), which worked great - he could get used to the new bed before he went into his own room.

Have a look on eBay for it, that's where we bought ours from. Buying new would've been too expensive, once you start adding on all the bits and pieces. Got a great deal with ours, even though we had to buy a new mattress. Agree with op, you don't have to buy the Stokke sheets, you can get similar sheets much cheaper from other places.

Thanks all- I decided to just go for it. I think anything else would have felt like second best as I had my heart set on it and I'm convinced it will make life a little easier!!!

Curious- The package includes the crib and the extensions to convert to cot plus mattresses. The 429 package is only for the crib which I imagine may not last verylong depending on the size of your baby? I guess time will tell!

Hey

We've just bought the Stokke Sleepi and mini package for baby due in 6 week's time- two friends have it and seem really pleased with it.

Troubleintmill, that's really good to know about bedding as that very nearly put me off buying it- did you manage to use a standard bumper with the mini cot too? The Stokke ones are £60 each!!...

Hope you're pleased with yours Stylostar!
