I stupidly forgot my notes for my scan specificallly for the nt test today so they refused to do it and now i cant have it

so annoyed

I have been offered a blood test at 14 weeks, i was just wondering if this is something all ladies are offered? also is this and the result of the NT scan what they use to calculate the risk score or is it only based on one or the other?

That is annoying if you had an emergency but no notes would they refuse to see you! Surely they can print out the info for you to put into your notes!
I didn't have the scan with DS as wasn't available had it this time but baby wouldn't get in the right position.
Both times had bloods both come back very low risk I don't think anything is completely accurate but good to get double reassurance if you can x

With regard to being able to tell if i had any apparent problems just by looking... the sonographer said that if it the NF had been unusually large then she would have been able to see that but it looked ok to her

but for the purposes of the test the foetus wasn't in the correct position so she couldn't get an accurate measurement

if it had looked large then she said she would have immediately referred me to someone (don't know who) and that although she couldn't say i was low risk she could say i wasn't high risk.

I'm also no expert but it does appear to have a clear nose bone.

Husband explained what she said in more detail last night as he took the call as i was in to much of a flap.

i think my biggest concern now is forgetting the notes for something again ...it's just the sort of thing i do all the time.

I think it must be some sort of training for motherhood
