Due date today. Tightenings, a stitch, discomfort, backache. But how would I know if it's normal discomfort or things starting? Or do you just know?

I didn't know I was in labour with my 2nd baby. Having done it once you'd think I'd realise! I was Adamant I just had an upset tummy until about 20mins before ds was born. My dh rang labour ward and I nearly refused to go to hospital as I thought I'd be wasting their time. When I was in the car I could feel the head starting to come, then I finally admitted I was in labour Grin
