I didn't even think I had ovulated this month so waited until the day after AF was due to even test.

I can't stop smiling Smile

Fantastic news Jabberwocky. I am so excited and happy for you!!!!!!! Tell us what you did differently this month....

Very well done and enjoy your pregnancy!

jabberwocky · 08/04/2006 14:28

LadySherlock, I'm in TN, about 30 minutes from where some of the tornadoes struck last night. We are very happy that our little town was not hit.

SKBF, let's see, for the last 2 months, I have taken:
prenatal vitamins, including folic acid
B12
baby aspirin
evening primrose oil
and the week of ovulation, 2 doses per day of cough syrup (I've linked to the site stating what particular type - never can remember the name)

Oh, and drinking lots of grapefruit juice.

I'm not sure if there was anything terribly different this month compared to last, but I did notice that cm was much thinner, to the extent that I didn't think I had actually ovulated. Maybe it took a bit for all of my "conception aids" to work. I have read that thinner cm aids the little swimmers!

There's no such thing as 'baby asprin' in the UK, it's not sold for the use of children at all, so for those of you here, take a normal asprin and cut it in half.

jabberwocky · 08/04/2006 14:54

Oh, yes, that's an old expression around here. But now it's marketed as "low-dose" aspirin.

Congratulations, Jabberwocky! Grin

expatinscotland · 08/04/2006 14:55

for the cough syrup, take one w/guaifensin only as active ingredient.

Hopecat · 08/04/2006 15:16

Congratulations! Grin Grin

Was on the positive April thread with you a couple of times I think.

Fantastic news: Have a lovely glowy weekend.

jabberwocky · 08/04/2006 15:44

Hi Hopecat! Yes, I didn't post very often because I have such a tendency to obsess about things. I was afraid at my age I was in for a long wait.

omg, congrats

peachygirl · 08/04/2006 16:35

Jabberwocky congratulations!!

Hopecat · 08/04/2006 17:53

Jabberwocky: I know what you mean about obsessing. I keep trying to get on with other things (like my life), but feel this mysterious pull back to the Mac...

Anyway, hopefully your good luck will rub off on the rest of us.Smile

jabberwocky · 08/04/2006 18:05

Me too! Have left some babydust for you on the positive April thread.
