When are you supposed to get this? I had my 16wk appointment yesterday but it was with a stand in mw, and they didn?t really seem to know where anything was or what they were doing, and it was all very rushed. Anyway, I don?t get another appointment with the mw now till 28 weeks (but I do have 20wk scan and a consultant appointment at 22 wks) but surely 28 wks is too late? You need to have informed work by 25wks?

It?s my 2nd pregnancy so you don?t get may appointments, but I?m sure I got it at around 18/20 wks last time? Unless they will give it to me at hospital? I guess I?d better ring my normal mw.

Just a question if like mrsbugsy my DP's employers wanted one how do I go about that as I wouldn't get one as I am a SAHM?
I must admit to being a bit confused as I worked full time last time and I keep hearing, seeing, and being told different things reguarding the MATB1 and SAHMS.

I'm getting mine at 28 weeks (I hope!)

Twenty-six weeks, but as others have said, not a problem.

DaGruffalo you should just be able to ask for one any time after 20-odd weeks. Your MW won't ask what your work status is. But IME it's pretty rare for a man's workplace to ask for the MATB1 as literally its only official function is for the mother's employer and the father's employer has no right to it at all.
