Am I pregnant? Faint line on test after an hour

Hi,

This is my first time on here so apologies if I've posted in the wrong area.

My HB and I have been trying for a baby for about a year now with no luck. I always get excited when I come close to the day my period is due and like to do a test asap. I did a Boots one yesterday which looked to be negative but then I happened to look at it a couple of hours later and it had a really faint line across it (barely readable)
Today is the day my period is due and so first thing this morning I did another boots test and it still came up negative but then about half-hour to an hour later I had another look and once again there is another faint line.
I was just wondering if this was normal with the Boots HPT and whether I should wait for another few days or try a different brand?
Any advice would be appreciated. We're so desperate for children and we were starting to get worried that there may be some sort of problem as the rest of the women in my family seem to fall straight away.

I had this with both my pregs, Son 1 is now 5, 29wks with baby 2
light spotting at the time of my period,
TMI warning --- (noticed a spot of blood, inserted tampon after several hours was still fairly clean)
Waited a couple more days, clean nothing, did a new test - Bingo!!!!

Okay guys so as soon as my period ended we were having it on every chance we got. Days before my ovulation was due, on ovulation day and after yeaaaah. We're something else. Back to the matter at hands. I'm having back pain, tender breasts, lower pains in my area. We're both nausea and he gain an appetite and I lost mine (I ate like a man). After the third one I since a fainted line but dismissed it bevause that happened with the second one So I have an original of the tests (in oder from bottom, to top) after 3 hours past for each. Tell me what you think. Thanks!

I had several extremely faint pregnancy tests but only after 30 minutes or more.

Turns out I was pregnant though! Now 7 weeks.

My advice would be to wait a little longer before doing a clear blue digital or anything like that because I did one of those and was told Not Pregnant. Then 3 days later did another CB digital and was told Pregnant 2-3 weeks! 😂

Hey guys, so I have taking 6-7 pregnancy test we have at work which look like the simple dollar store ones that have HCG on them. The reason I took one was because I had a period May 14th but it only lasted 1 1/2 days, usually mine last for 4-5 days. I’m not on BC and my boyfriend doesn’t use protection (we just say if it happens it happens lol) I took the first couple the 4th day of when I was suppose to be on my period... and there was a very very faint line you had to almost put it in light to tell and it really didn’t have a color so I took a clear blue it said Not Pregnant ... next week later I have taken 3 and they show up an hour later faint second line too but it’s pink it’s not clear... but they only show up around 30 minutes to an hour later. I’m having symptoms. I’m suppose to start my period June 11th... I took one this morning and you could barley see line like other and it looked more clear but like I said an hour later it showed up pink... still faint but it’s there... kinda anxious because I have a 9 year old daughter .. so baby fever is real right now! Lol! Any thought??? Could I be pregnant???

I’m now a week late for af. I have been spotting on and off for 11 days and very confused?? Can you see these faint lines or not?? Should I be concerned??

I can see the line... it’s the crossed lines in the round box that means positive isn’t it?

Yes but I just didn’t know if it was a positive line or I just soo wanted to see it that I was seeing a line as I really wanted to if that makes sense Thank you for replying 😊

I have done 3 pregnancy tests 2 from Sainsbury’s and 1 clear blue this morning they all showed negative then after 1 hour showed positive very clear blue lines on all 3 tests ??? Am I pregnant helppppp

Hi, I'm all new to this so apologies for the post to begin with as I just think I'm going crazy. But I had a doctors appointment 3 weeks ago with abdominal pain, I was questioned about my last period, I haven't had one in 4 years due to the depo and explained I wasn't on anything else, at this point I was 5 months off and not using any protection, she suggested taking a test in 3 weeks time, this i have done, I done two, and they both shown negative until 30-60 minutes later a faint line appeared to say I was pregnant, i have done research and it could be an evaporation line, I've not had this on any other tests before, they have usually had no other lines.. im currently going through somw of the symptoms also.. What do people think? What's going on?

Little back story
I had a period nov 17-21
Had sex the 22 & 25 (pull out method)
Had weird spotting (which i never really have) on Dec 6th
My sister said get a pregnancy test so i did. She swore she seen line
I got more test, dollar tree and clear blue, those looked negative. I got more fist response and again after like maybe an hour i seen a line. It’s a weird line. The top looks pink, fades out and then the bottom has pink. It’s only the first response that are showing this, all 4 i took

Very faint lines on 2 different tests just before the day of my expected periods. What do you think? Many thanks!!

Sorry I’m new to this! I took a pregnancy test yesterday and got a faint positive with a ASDA £1 pregnancy test I’m not due on for another 6 days when I took a clear blue this morning it said not pregnant!

I tested with boots and like you got a very faint line after half an hour. Then negative with clear blue. It did turn out to be positive. You’ll just have to wait a few more days to be sure - good luck!

Your not suppose to read them after a few mins love do another one just to be safe

I bought a tesco dip one where you get two for £1. Took one at 5pm but id had a lot of water said negative, but before I went to bed I just had a niggly feeling and took it again and it was positive, took two clear blue ones next day both said 2 weeks pregnant. Now I’m 9 weeks+5! Would recommend the cheap strip ones just don’t do it after tons of water like I did the first time

I done 2 pregnancy test, 1 on Sunday morning that was a positive both lines where really dark then done 1 Monday morning it still said positive but the test line wasn't as dark. Does this mean anything or am I just being paranoid .

Jemma were you pregnant in the end??
