Can anyone help me? I am a size 20/22 and 11 weeks pregnant. I am already having real problems researching where I can find maternity clothing to fit me. According to most maternity clothing suppliers you are not allowed to get pregnant if you are larger than a size 18!!! Has anyone had any luck in this area, or can give me any suggestions? I know that Next go up to size 22 on some of there lines but not all.

Hi. You're probably sorted now but I am 22 weeks pregnant with my second and a size 20. Like others, I have got a lot of maternity clothes off ebay but have also bought new from Asda, Next, Dorothy Perkins, Mothercare and M&S. My local Asda still does maternity clothes and according to one of the sales assistants, plans to do so for a long time! Didn't know anything about stopping to stock them. I agree that Next trousers are generous, but their tops are less so. Have you tried the Additions catalogue as well? They have quite a few nice things in maternity wear and go up to size 20.

My local Asda still does cheap'n'cheerful maternity clobber too! Dotty P's, Next and H&M have been my main places. Re BMI, thats totally unfair! My BMI is 36 and only thing mentioned to me is blood sugars test to be taken at 20 and 26 weeks to check for gestational diabetes.
Good luck Potatowoman!

I hated not being able to buy any maternity wear because of my size it made me feel like I was missing out on something Sad I did however just stock up on elasticated waist skirts and lovely tunic type tops from evans and they did me fine.
