Had a shite night's sleep so really should feel like crap, but I feel great! Feel like firing on all cylinders for the first time in ages, but am slightly concerned that I might do something silly like go into labour early....

Anyone else feeling/felt like this?

It's the nesting kicking in!

WhoahThereCrazyHorse · 04/09/2012 13:30

Bit early though surely?!

I'm 34wk tomorrow and had a very immoral burst of energy this weekend, included tidying out the airing cupboard and getting stuff put in loft/ getting all baby nursery stuff out and ready etc.. DH was convinced I was nesting! Confused
I'm back to slobbing in my trackies today tho.. Phew! Hmm

celebmum · 04/09/2012 13:55

Blushimmoral!? It was unnatural when I type it!!! Grin

TitsalinaBumSquash · 04/09/2012 13:57

I spent the last 4 days cleaning and sorting like a daemon after a sudden burst of energy (30 weeks) today I'm back to needing a nap because I'm chuffing knackered and achey.

WhoahThereCrazyHorse · 04/09/2012 14:01

Phew, I can cope with intermittent bursts of energy, just nowhere near ready to give birth!

Grin at immoral bursts of energy!!

I was super energetic between 32 and 35 weeks, hiking playing socialising swimming shopping having a great time... then baby engaged and I became a slow snail of a woman needing sleeps every afternoon!

37 now and hoping for another burst of energy!

squidkid · 04/09/2012 14:10

Particularly an immoral one.

Goldrill · 04/09/2012 14:14

I would love an immoral one, or even an indecent one, should any be available.
34+5 and really neeeeed a day off to go to sleep!

Omg!! I wish I cld have this energy all year round!! Has to be nesting so I have been told. My mum is looking tired just watching me along with being worried as she can't understand where it's all coming from!!.
This is my 1st baby at 38 years young after sadly losing 2 in the past. I know i should rest but how can i when I feel I'm plugged into the mains🤣.
Still all can change soon but hey this wee bird in my nest will have the cleanest comfies nest ever.
Happy nesting ladies but like me try have at least 2 mins sitting down haha

Merrydoula · 10/10/2018 14:20

Nesting! :)

Babyboom7 · 10/10/2018 19:49

God it's great but so frustrating when family are telling me to sit down and relax. Obviously I see their point but I could easily start my own cleaning business🤣. I know once wee boy is here I won't have time to eat never mind nest. Happy nesting all

LBNM19 · 10/10/2018 23:14

This made me laugh, I'm 33 weeks hope it happens to me soon. I'm always exsusted.

Babyboom7 · 11/10/2018 02:13

It's comes out of nowhere. One minute I was pooped the next I had went through a bottle of baby boys Milton for his sterilized unit. It then just snowballed from there. Cupboards I hadn't seen the back of in 2 years and then the clothes I prob won't fit into again😕but hey I was like sod it bin them and onto next cupboard. I'm no at the point of no return and itching for something to do(I'm currently up now itching haha). Ohh will the crash and burn come??? Maybe maybe not. Find out soon enough😂. Next year I will envy each bloody bird outside nearing spring cause I know they will be nesting away and I will be dragging one tired ass about Hmm
