Nub theory experts??

Hii ladies, had my 12 week ultrasound yesterday. Thought instantly boy bouncing around the screen, but when we got home and had a good look at scan pics, we just don't no going by this nub theory. is there any truth too it and any experts care to give an opinion:)
Thats if i can get it on here haha be patient x

Boo! I really can't tell from the picture as it's quite small. Eitherway it's a baby, woop woop!!

I thought no4 was a boy from the nub at 12 weeks, but then again the pregnancy was identical to my previous ones, I have 3DDs. I did quite a bit of nub studying, got out old scan pics and DD3 definitely looked like a girl.

I still nearly fell off the table when they said DS was a DS.

I would say boy. I correctly guessed my own DC nubs.

According to the nub 'theory'I was having a girl when I got inquisitive after my 12 week scan - it was VERY clear on the picture when I followed the instructions of what to look for.

My son was born 2 weeks ago Grin

Guess its a 50?50 chance.. like everything haha. i thought it was pretty reliable. i think someone said 75% accuracy so suppose u have to allow some to be wrong xx

Its a secret group no one else can see it you have to be added to it, we have all been on it from around 5-6 weeks pregnant most ladies on it, like me, are only just telling people now as its scan time :) its lovely to chat to everyone who is at the same stage. Will see you there soon then x

If you go on to the feb 2012 thread in the antenatal groups, the link to the girl who set it up is in there add her and she will add you to the group. You can't find the group on facebook as its a closed secret group only members can see. That's the good thisg about it when its still a secret cos no one can see u r in it :) its bean dunne but if you click on the link it will take you to her facebook profile so you can add her x

you should have asked the sonographer for their opinion!! they look at them all day and are best placed to make educated guesses. I got them to give me their best guess a 11 or 12 weeks scans and all guessed correctly.

This is my second, I had a mmc last year at 13 weeeks and a mc in feb this year at 5 weeks so have been very anxious this pregnancy but had my scan on wednesday and all looked well so starting to enjoy it a bit more now, we always have something to worry about don't we ha.

When you say do I have a link, what do you mean? I'm not great on MINUTE to be honest only have a nose on here now and again but all the profile stuff throws me :/ x

Ha ha, i ment is your picture on the net? can u copy and paste ur scan so i can have a peak? :) i have DS too :). Sorry for your losses :( i had a mc at 8weeks in Feb too. i feel the same as u, starting too settle a little now. xx

I don't know how to put pics on here I'm on my phone so don't know if that's why, I will keep having a mess about to see if I can put my scan pic on.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage too, it is really hard not worry after a miscarriage but fingers crossed we will have easy pregnancies and happy healthy little babies :) x
