Ponyo - after the Japanese anime film where a magical fish turns into a little girl. We found out it was a boy at the 20 week scan and tried to stop calling it Ponyo but it had already stuck!

BadgerFace · 04/08/2012 14:42

I started on Bean which I liked but then a friend said it was a bit too rude as in "flicking the bean" so we have now moved on to Mini-Badger or MB for short. Although I do still use Bean at home!

LolaThePregnantFlyola · 04/08/2012 20:27

we have a bean- he is now a toddler in is bean. beany boy, beany -joe, bean the wean , weany bean, beanjo

Chunkychicken · 04/08/2012 23:20

DD was Wrigglepot.

DC#2 hasn't got a consistent name yet - although my DD has referred to Bump as Baby Sausage. I've called it Pumpkin & Wrigglepot the Sequel.:)

xmasevebundle · 04/08/2012 23:38

Littly mum named it as a little me..

Spuddybean · 04/08/2012 23:50

we call it grubling or booby. Mum calls it fat baby.

Clarella · 05/08/2012 00:01

Blueberry - that was the week that it was,the size of one but it really made us smile!

dashoflime · 05/08/2012 00:04

Mine was Cletus. As in Cletus the Fetus

feesh · 05/08/2012 08:14

Twins: Spuggy and Geoff as in Byker Grove. God knows why, but it's stuck now so there we go.

sammyleh · 05/08/2012 09:53

We call our Monkey... because it feels like she's actually going ape in there sometimes. Even though we know the sex and she already has a name, she's Monkey until the day she's born.

StripeyOrangeTrousers · 05/08/2012 11:03

Nugget, though she is much bigger than this now! We've decided not to tell anyone the name we've chosen so we continue to call her Nugget partly to stop ourselves from accidentally letting the cat out of the bag.

Cremolavelodrome · 05/08/2012 11:36

My dsis called her first Pinto as the doc told her baby 1 was the size of a pinto bean
Second dcbecame Borlotti Grin
And third dc was Haricot
Mad but funny

kalidasa · 05/08/2012 12:27

Hector. I'm 23 weeks now and we're trying to switch over to the name we've chosen! I had a couple of early miscarriages in Jan and Feb and those were called Hector too, so strictly speaking this one is Hector III

newby2 · 05/08/2012 12:41

Bean and Bean2. It went as soon as born though.

GrandPoohBah · 05/08/2012 13:17

The Wriggler. She wriggles, lots.

Marmiteisyummy · 05/08/2012 14:35

DS was Yoda. Took several weeks to stop calling him that after he was born. Too early yet for names this time.

SwissArmyWife · 05/08/2012 16:41

Pudz That is adorable!

My DD was Bubble, until I found out the sex, and this one was Sea Monkey.

TheBigRazzoo · 05/08/2012 21:51

Ours is zombiepotamus because on one of the 20 week scan pics our daughter looked like a zombie and I now look like a hippopotamus.

Pudgy2011 · 06/08/2012 03:22

DS1 was Pudgy - we didn't know the sex and he put on loads of weight at the beginning and looked really fat hence Pudgy. But then he slowed up and was pretty tiny up until he arrived. He was only 6 1/2 pounds.

Kyzordz · 06/08/2012 09:47

Mine has been bean since we found out. I'm 26 weeks and we have some names but we're sticking with calling him bean until he arrives :)

DeterminedandSpecialMum · 06/08/2012 09:50

DD1 now aged 7 was named and still is called Bean.

DD2 7 months was bumpy - now Little Lady.

Didn't know either sex until birth.

PurplePidjin · 06/08/2012 10:09

Sprout, because he germinated at the same time as the seeds on the windowsill!

Or, on here, PidjChick :o

Congratulations!

charlir · 06/08/2012 10:42

We've named our bump wiki - long silly story why!

BonaDea · 06/08/2012 12:33

Pea, peeper or bean at the moment. Very early days.

PragmaticWench · 06/08/2012 13:10

Sweetcorn from when he or she was the size of a piece of sweetcorn. It's stuck and I think, if we are lucky enough to have another, that one will be Little Pea.
