I know it isn't a serious issue, but I am 16 weeks and in a bad way! None of my clothes fit properly. I'm too pot bellied for my regular clothes, but the maternity clothes my Dsis gave me (bless her!) are too baggy yet. I either am horrible uncomfortable or look like a hobo!
The problem is that while I am indeed a professional, I don't have a lot of cash to buy 4 week interim clothes. I did get a bella band, and perhaps that will work, but does anyone have any ideas?

And to make matters worse, a few months before I got pregnant, I happily threw away all my chubby clothes as I had lost 3 stone and was so proud!

Boo!

eBay for second hand maternity clothes and try the elastic bans trick to get your normal jeans to fit. Loop a rubber band through the button hole at the top of your jeans or trousers then loop it around the button twice.

I headed to Primark and bought some jersey dresses for £9 each. They weren't maternity wear and were in my normal size but lasted me till the end.

I'm 23 weeks and leggings and shirts have become by best friend.

Sainsburys is cheap and cheerful...

Luckily I have a bunch of floaty tops which I wear over my normal trousers done up with a coul

Sorry on mobile and having a funny finger moment

... Done up with a few hair bands looped together. I'm 19 weeks. I bought a dress from new look for £8 in the sale too - worth a look for something cheap.

Maxi dresses!!! I swear by them! And they will fit afterwards as most are stretchy look for ones with an empire line that are floaty !! Soo comfortable too and you can smarten them up with jackets or cardis, plus you don't have to worry about trying to bend to get them over your ankles!! :) or am I alone in that problem lol
