Period pains and achy legs at 36 weeks pregnant

For the last couple of days I have been having period pains, achy legs and a bit of back ache. When I saw the midwife this week she also said the head was 3/5 engaged. Could this be early labour? It is my 2nd baby but had a planned C section with DS as he was breech. 36 weeks is of early as well surely?!?!

I have been having those but they settle down again. Think it's further growing pains. I am 37 weeks tomorrow. Sometimes can be referred pain from other areas too. If it gets too sore to talk, then I think u know. Good luck!

Are achy legs at 36 weeks a sign of labour?

I've been getting the same problems too. Crampy achy legs just at night, painful and period like pains especially lower back. I assume it's just braxton hicks. I've had crampy legs throughout, just more now, I guess could be related to baby gaining more weight or so?
I'm 36 weeks now. Had a scan wednesday as baby was breech at week 28 and 31. Was concerned so got mw to book me in and scan showed baby's head is now engaged. So relieved.
I don't mind putting up with the pain for a little longer.
Good luck xx
