as of a few hours ago i felt a little "wet" in my knickers, i went to check and i have some discharge which is really watery and clear. changed my knickers and again a small amount of watery stuff. could this be amniotic fluid leaking? im worried but i dont want to call hubby away from work to go get checked incase its just nothing and im being silly..
i know it can be dangerous for baby but is this perhaps just discharge?? i also have some dull pain in my lower back which is sort of radiating down my right thigh, please someone put my mind at ease a little?? thank you

it wasnt a gush i think i worded that wrong but i could feel it running out, it was brown with a kinda blobby red mass in the middle.. sorry.. havnt had any pains as such but feeling quite sick and tired and baby feels like shes moved lower. a friend has told me that the brown stuff after the sweep is what happens after a sweep so its not my plug??
they did a swab on me and said it was inconclusive, but i did have a lot of watery discharge, they wanted to keep me in to monitor me but i had nobody to watch my toddler so i chose to go home since everything was ok x

I think it might be a good idea to just check that discharge with the hospital/midwife, just to be on the safe side...

Molly how was your leakage picked up? I'm worried I may be leaking as well.
I've been thinking I'm just a bit sweaty or damp. I'm 24 weeks with dc3.
When I has ds2, I went overdue and started leaking amniotic fluid without really realising and ended up with an emergency c section.
