What's the third trimester like?

Just wondering if anyone has found the tiredness comes back or they feel uncomfortable as the bump grows? I'm just entering it I think (28+3) and apart from a pretty painful knot/muscle spasm thing in my back which isn't great am still feeling fairly energetic, compared to the days when I would be asleep by 8.30 every night!

Have got 6 weeks of work left which I know is fairly early to stop, but that's because am working on a project whose deadine is then and it's going to be a really intense period to get there, late nights, weekend work etc. Am dreading these next weeks a bit and just hoping I dont get first trimester symptoms back again, just wondering how anyone else found/is finding those last weeks at work?

I am 31+4 and have been exhausted for the past week, and have been on vacation for the past 2 weeks - just went back to work yesterday and came home ready for a nap.
I have five more weeks of work, and can't wait.
Am also getting up regularly to pee in the night, so having interrupted sleep, also our neighbors just got a dog, who barks all night.
My stomach is also full, I thunk I am hungry, but can't eat much, then am hungry again 2 hours later.
Very much looking forward to the end!

Fucking awful. Sorry.
Stupid fucking questions/hurty fanny/people commenting on your weight.

(my FIL actually asked me if I had STARTED MY DIET YET!)

But I'm 41 weeks now and utterly fucked off.

Lol ALL OF THE ABOVE !!!! It also drags sooooo much. I am 39+4 and the last 4 weeks have been hard work. People keep telling me 'It will all be worth it in the end' Well of course I know that but its just the getting there!!!!
Pain from SPD not being able to waddle far, having to give in to pregnancy and accept you cant see yr ladybits to tend them (been doing almost blind trim ups for weeks) toenails painted in relay so I can breath inbetween, wearing pads coz I pee, swelling ooooooh the swelling fingers ankles face

Its just all so attractive !!!!!! blooming I think not and like heartmoonshadow I NEVER will be doing it again lol

Maybe I'm looking with rose tinted specs (DS is 4 next month) but I loved it. Had stopped work. Had no real niggles. Relaxed, had some me-time. Pottered around. But waters went at 36+5, and DS arrived by EMCS at 37 so I didn't have any late waiting around.

Am 28 weeks and feel thoroughly miserable for the first time during this pregnancy. I have my fourth lot of antibiotics for a recurring urine infection, an achy back that makes me worry the infection has spread to my kidneys, I'm grumpy and dis like everyone, my hormones are worse than the first trimester and I swing between tears and unreasonable rage. My poor husband is doing my head in (for no reason!), I can't sleep through the night and it hurts when I bend over. GRRR! Feels good to get it out!

I found the last couple of weeks of work a real struggle (I finished at 35 weeks)' because my job also involved long hours, stress and deadlines. But since I started leave, it has been so much better.

I've kept the gentle exercise - yoga, swimming and the odd stroll - which I'm sure has prevented me seizing up completely and have kept myself busy buying baby things on eBay, cooking things for the freezer and having lots and lots of naps.

Yes, I'm the size of a house (I'm now 39+3), yes, it's difficult to get comfy and it's a bit of a waiting game, but at least I haven't had the nausea of the first trimester back and people are much more sympathetic when you are obviously heavily pregnant.

Best of luck with everything, OP. Here's hoping you are able to enjoy it and get some time to relax before baby arrives!
