When did you get 3+weeks on the Clearblue Digital with Conception Indicator?

I'm 19dpo, and still showing 2-3 weeks. Lines on internet cheapies have stopped getting darker - not quite as dark as the control line once they've dried, but seem to be about the same as the control after 5 mins while they are still wet.

When did people first get 3+, and what was the latest they had 2-3weeks. I REFUSE to give Clearblue even more money from testing each day (that, and it will drive me insane!)

I think that's correct - CB take date of conception as the starting date, rather than date of last AF, so it's been about 2-3 weeks from date of conception for you.

McPopcornMouseNFries · 30/03/2012 15:41

Btw, if you've got a positive and you know when you ovulated, why would you test every day? Confused

SunshineSpell · 30/03/2012 15:53

Thanks for reply mcpopcorn - I know I'm meant to be 2-3 at the moment, but was wondering whether people generally got a 3+ at the start of their 6th week (i.e. when they hit 5 weeks/21dpo) or if it often took longer than that, or if many people got it before then?

I'm testing more frequently as have had 2 previous pregancies that haven't stuck and I'm nervous!!!! I'm so sure the pregnancy isn't sticking due to loss of symptoms again. I've never made it to 3+ before, I was just hoping that a 3+ on the clearblue would show me things are at least moving in the right direction.

I got a 3+ on my first test then a week later I did it again to make sure and I got a 2-3 ! I wouldn't waste your money. You know your pregnant Smile

McPopcornMouseNFries · 30/03/2012 16:21

Yeah I agree with new - stop testing, that way madness lies. Apart from anything else, it'll fluctuate depending on the strength of your wee!

If you're really concerned, go to your GP and get them to run a blood test a few days apart and see how the HCG levels are going.

KatAndKit · 30/03/2012 16:36

2-3 is the correct result for 19dpo. 2-3 on the clearblue is eqivalent to 4-5 weeks pregnant from lmp.

You shouldn't expect a 3+ until at least 21dpo.

Step away from the sticks - these tests are an evil ploy to make women spend lots of money each week testing when they know the answer. And I speak as someone who has had two miscarriages and understands the mentalling. Getting a 3+ does not mean everything is ok. Not getting on on the exact day you think you should doesn't mean things are not ok. I've also had the 3+ earlier than I expected and then foolishly done more tests and one went back to 2-3 and I was convinced it was all over. It wasn't - I'm 38 weeks now.

If I ever have another pregnancy I will just try to be strong and avoid these tests altogether.

If you chart, you can probably narrow down the day you ovulated, but you can't say exactly when it happened. This will add variation to the time you get your 3+.

It will also vary due to variable hCG levels, as these go up and down a bit in the early weeks, plus the amount in your urine fluctuates.

Finally, if you look back across many threads, women have had 'dropping' or slow to road hCG levels, started to panic, but gone on to have a full term pg; one poster put that she had a 'slow burner'.

CB only claim to be 92% accurate on.conception too.

In short, you could test every single day & not get an answer that puts your mind to rest. I don't think you will truly rest easy until you have a baby in your arms, given your experiences.

Try not to test any more, relax & enjoy each day of your pregnancy as long as you have it, and with luck, you will be 'third time lucky'. All the best.

Hi I am new to this group I did a clearblue digital pregnancy test and it said 3+ weeks what does it mean please many thanks

MichelleOR84 · 02/04/2020 12:32

Everyone is so different.

I got 3+ weeks at 6 weeks exactly with my first . I was showing a week ahead at my 12 week scan though and I suspected I ovulated early as well .

With my second I wasn’t that bothered to check . I took a clear blue test 1 day after my period was due and it came up as 2-3 weeks . I think I ovulate early again. Then I had an early pregnancy scan to check heart beat and left it at that .

Everyone is sooooo different though so I wouldn’t worry . I had a missed miscarriage 2 years ago . I found out at 9 weeks that the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks . When I first started cramping I went to the hospital and they couldn’t do a scan as it was the middle of the night but they took my blood . Apparently my HCG levels were on track so they told me it was unlikely I would miscarry. And I still did . The baby wasn’t even developing . So HCG levels mean sooooo little .

Loubaby86 · 23/04/2020 12:44

Hi I did a test last week it said on the clear blue stick 3+ but when I did it again it went back to 2-3 does it mean there could be a problem? I went to have a early scan done and the outcome if it was the uterus is anteverted and appears normal in configuration. At the fundus there is a gestation sac with a yolk sac within measuring 6x4x4mm (MSD=4.4 mm which equates to 5-6 weeks pregnant. Everything is all going good ain't it I'm just worried that all if someone could put my mind at rest I appericate it because I suppose to be 6 weeks as I counted it from my last period

Taaaa · 13/08/2021 13:17

Hallo, I had sex 2 weeks ago and bought clear blue it's telling me , I am 3+ pregnant how is that possible when I had intercourse 2 weeks ago. I am confused. Please help

Derbee · 13/08/2021 14:54

I was 6wk2d when I got a 3+. I’ve heard of people never getting the 3+ and still being pregnant/having healthy babies. So I wouldn’t get worked up about it. I know it’s easier said than done

Ameteurmum · 15/08/2021 09:54

Put away the clear blue tests and move on with things. I got a 2-3 when I took a test and by my calculations was 6 weeks. I was going to buy more to get the elusive 3+ but didn’t. What will happen if you don’t get a 3+? You will cause yourself a lot of stress and worry over something that might not be an issue. It’s not a magic future telling piss stick that accurately predicts whether things will be okay or not. Don’t waste time worrying about something that may or may not happen because you cannot change the outcome anyway
My 2-3 is currently 23 weeks and kicking the shit out of me

Bethholds22 · 03/10/2022 20:28

I miscarried on the 13th August 2022 and i got my negative 2 weeks later and tested other day on a clear blue test and it came back 3+, what does this mean?
