My sister has a serious problem with her pregnancy. Please look at this thread
please read this and then return here .

If anyone has any medical advice, or could recommend any clinics/hospitals/ specialists etc etc that may be able to help/give advice etc. I would really appreciate it.

Is anybody with your sister today? My sister took the morning off to be with me yesterday and my mum in the afternoon as we knew it was likely we would get the all important 22q result. My poor dh was better off at work. If she is alone and there is the slightest chance you can be with her I would urge you to go. If she's at work then she's a far stronger woman than me.

PS Forgot to say - I have just skimmed over the abortion limit thread and cannot believe some peoples ideas. It's easy for them to be so highly opinionated when they haven't been faced with such a horribly hellish decision at such a late stage.

She is at work actually had to do a course yesterday and today. I think it is slightly distracting for her rather than sitting at home dwelling. I can't be with her unfortunately. We live a couple of hours apart and with dd at school etc it is tricky.

ChicagoMum, how is your sister? Secondly, no it is not illegal to ship Ginger Wine to the US!! I still haven't made it to the post, I will let you know as soon as I ship the Aveeno.

Good, I'll get to the post office tomorrow then, still no news from my sister .

loulou14 just a quick update, it appears slightly more promising, on the early results it appears no genetic/chromosomal problems but may need to do surgery in-utero. Will be thinking of you tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. I'm so glad to hear the chromosome tests have come back clear. I had my final clearance today and it's such a huge relief, my dh has even started decorating the spare room!

This baby business is such a lottery. I really hope everything works out for your sister. Please keep posting. Best wishes x
