Anyone else going mad for crisps? I want them all the time! I bought 3 big multipacks the other day and i don't think they'll last too long Blush

Me and DH just demolished a large family bag of onion rings! Mmmmmm!

passthebiccies · 25/02/2012 19:35

I got over-excited just seeing the title of this thread! There's not a potato or corn-based savoury snack I'm not craving and scoffing by the family pack! The tango-tanned baby fears made me laugh! Smile

Teds77 · 25/02/2012 19:52

Am expecting twins. I don't think I'll be surprised if I give birth to a salt and vinegar McCoys and a prawn cocktail Walkers...

pixiepud · 25/02/2012 20:02

lol, well its seems i'm not the only one going mad for the potato based snack, weird how alot crave salt and vinegar ?

I've munched my way through the monster munch family, but i just cannot get enough of my wotsits, i get so disappointed when i reach the bottom 10 seconds later after opening a bag.

Someone mentioned tescos salt and vinegar chipsticks, and now i want them badly lol, but the best crisps are the ready salted chipsticks but you rarely find them.

Excuse me but all you ladies keep your hands off the pickled onion monster munch, they are all mine, I need them all.

Am glad to see it is not just me that can't keep their hands off salty snacks!

twizzlestix · 25/02/2012 23:20

violacrayon I also currently have a aversion to all salad/vegetables and fruit!!!

bugoven · 26/02/2012 16:04

Salt and vinegar anything especially chipsticks! I also want loads of fruit which I'm hoping is balancing everything out nutritionally speaking. I keep being force fed "proper dinners" loving prepared by DP.

ToxicToria · 26/02/2012 16:12

I remember having an addiction to cheese doritos when I was pregnant so much so I went to vending machine in work to get some one day and burst into tears as there was none left Blush

Trinski · 26/02/2012 17:19

Cheesy wotsits!
2 days before I tested I ate a whole multi-pack in one go after a student offered me one in class. Didn't want to read too much into it at the time, but now it's still the only thing I feel like eating.

pixiepud · 26/02/2012 18:01

ToxicToria lol, sorry that made me chuckle alittle :D I craved crab sticks (seafood sticks), but they had to be youngs, i couldn't think of anything else, we went shopping.... i looked everywhere for them in there, and they didn't have any, i actually felt like crying my eyes out, i felt so hurt and disappointed lol, i just stood in the queue mortified. My husband went out the next day to grab me like 5 packs.... i ate one and there are 4 left, as soon as i had that one pack i haven't wanted anymore since lol, i feel awful everytime i see them in the fridge, I have to eat them, they expire in march.

Pixie it's so funny when I think of it now but at the time it seemed perfectly reasonable to cry over someone eating the last packet of MY crisps lol Blush I think you may be forced to put the remaining crabsticks in the bin Grin

MissTapestry · 26/02/2012 19:21

Mmm, beef monster munch, sour cream Pringles or cheese and onion McCoys!!

no1childminder · 26/02/2012 20:07

pixiepud · 26/02/2012 20:49

This post made me giggle - I'm MAD for crisps at the moment! For me, it's quavers or the oaked chilli Brown Bag crisps - omg they're amazing! Goodness knows what we're all going to give birth to!

Littlecherublegs · 29/02/2012 11:22

Yep, mad for crisps too!! Im 12 weeks and am munching through many a potato snack!! Smile

Got through a family sized bag of onion rings when the rugby was on on Sat!

My tastes seem to be changing throughout the pregnancy though - it started with Quavers, then French Fries, and has now moved onto Discos!!
Cheese & Onion are generally my favs but anything goes!!

Mmmmm.... getting hungry (again) now!! Smile

balkanscot · 03/03/2012 19:00

I wasn't really that bothered about crisps until TODAY - 150g Kettle Chips (sea salt & balsamic vinegar) all GONE! What the...???? Blush At 33+4 there is still time to turn into a couple of whales stitched together if I keep going on like this.

PeahenTailFeathers · 03/03/2012 20:45

Pixie, put the crabsticks in the bin one at a time and he'll never guess you haven't eaten them Grin.
I'm crazy about salt and vinegar crisps as well - there must be something really good in them for so many pregnant women to want them so much Grin
