due today and sharp pain in right side lasting 30 mins

hi

well im due today with #1 woohoo but no sign as yet. I have been woken up twice this week with a sharp twisting pain in my right side. It between my hip and rib and is really painful to the point it made me feel sick and cry. It lasted about 20-30 mins. its obviously not contractions but wondered if anyone had any ideas what it could be. I have midwife tomorrow to have membrane sweep so ill ask her too

any ideas ??

I have absolutely no idea, but anything so alarming is better dealt with at once. Please ring your midwife, although it's probably nothing it's safer to check out anything unusual straight away.
