Hello everyone just wondering if anyone can help me im 20wks 5 days pregnant, me and my boyfriend of 4 years split for 6 months i had a new partner i last split up with him on 16th july.. my last period was 11th july and it had finished on 15th july i last had sex with previous partner on 16th july i got back with my partner of 4 years on 20th july on the 15th august im pregnant.. i also tested on 29th july test was negative im just a little worried to who the father is my periods are every 28-30 days so very regular if anyone could help would be great on and ultrasound said my conception was likely to be end of july x

Looks to me like it would be your 4 year partner. If your last period finished on the 15th July and you split up with new partner the day after it looks unlikely it'd be the new partner. I'm no expert mind...

I had a very simular situation, had sex with friend 18th july,19th july I cam on my period, got preg soon after.I was sooo confused as to who the babys dad was, convinced myself there was a chance that it was my friends and not my partner of 4 years to. Ur scan at 12 weeks should give you an estimated conception date? Mine turned out to be the 3rd august so its my partner of 4 years. Please don't let it get you down, I no it was eating up at me and I struggled to get excited about baby. Now 20+1. As u are so similar to me, my periods very regular, and 28 days, I ovulate 14 days in, so you should be about the same if they are regular. It most likely is your 4 years partner. But please don't stress, and get u down. There is paternity test which you can do in discretion from your partner if he doesn't know, that was my option, if the person you slept with on the 16th july knows and may be willing to help out paying for the test and keep it quiet?

yeah thats what i was thinking that its my partner of 4 years, im not far off along from u then im 20wks 5 days i knpw my last period was 11th july but scan inicates it was 16th july so i thought this may even be better and i had a even later ovulation?? my 12 weeks scan brought my dates back to the 16th july but i asked the lady when was my possible conception dates and she said they were the end of july me and my partner of 4 years already have a 2 yr old little boy and yesterday i found im having a baby girl so over the moon but this just gets me down a bit :( even though everyone says dont worry ill be fine x

Omg you sound so similar to me! Lol, we have a little boy to, who's 2 and a half. I find out what I'm having at 21 weeks next week.strange if its a girl to! Well by the sounds of it ur conception date would be about 30th then if the scan takes you to the 16th july and ur periods about the 28th day cycle and regular.

kiki my scan back dates my last period to 16th july?? does this mean i mite of had a late ovulation than normall if i have regular monthly periods isit impossible that i fell pregnant just a day after my last lmp? the lady that done my ultrasound said when the scans give a suggestion on conception dates that there so accurate x

Well i done it on the mumsnet calculator with the first day of your last period on 11/07 for 28 days which gave that result if you go for a 30 day cycle then it shows 27/07 as you con date. I would think it's right it sounds about right if the ultrasoundd said and of July and you got back with your partner on 20th it all adds up right, is your date date 16th April?

I tried the ovulation calculator too and it says if your last period started 11/07 then you'd ovulate between 21/07 and 25/07

nope hun my due dates 21st april so guessin i ovulated later than 25th which is even more better suppose ive got nothing to worry about x

I would deff say you have nothing to worry about yay :)

I spent a long time charting my cycles and have lots of useless info on likely ovulations and conceptions ect. From what you've said and your dates I would almost certainly say this is your long term partner's baby. If the scan has dated your LMP as 16th July but you know it was 11th July then that indicates that you ovulated 5 days later than you possibly thought, which is great news because it makes it near on impossible to be anyone but your long term partner's baby.

thanks everyone just when i say to some people this and to help me out all i get is back is " them dates are way to close together having sex on the 16th july and then 20th july with long term partner and that i would need a DNA but i try telling them that i tested two weeks after ex and test was negative plus my cycles are to regular to have concieved just a day after my lmp has finished, but thanks guys xx
