Hi, not been trying, just been careless (already have 2 ds and would love another baby) I am due on now, nothing happened so far, just tender breasts, bloating, sleeping heavily at night and dreaming like mad! I did have stomach cramps (like period pains) yesterday and thought I would come on, the pains have gone but I don't feel pregnant - do you think I would know? Or is it too early, I don't want to do a test yet as I may get my period this weekend, and if the test is negative I know I would be a little disappointed.

I agree with OO - go and get yourself a test, you know you won't be able to settle until you do!

Toothache · 05/01/2006 11:25

Aw Zenia - I'm really sorry about the responses you had here. People ask that question alot on MN, but just because people who have posted on MN for ages have read a thread like this loads of times isn't really an excuse to act like that towards you and be sarcastic.

No wonder you are worried and scared after having a stillborn. Please don't be put off MN just because a couple of posters are irritated by the same question being asked..... I mean how would YOU know what had been posted here in the past since you're new.

WELCOME TO MN AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE TEST! I'll be back in a while to get your result.

creep

Toothache · 05/01/2006 11:33

Hey OO... it was a bit off don't you think? Coming onto this thread with a "eh DUH!!" attitude.

I'd have felt the same as Zenia and I'm not new and I'm not hormonal!! Although I am a tad unstable....

zenia · 05/01/2006 11:41

Thank you for your reply Toothache, I do feel a little emabarrased about this thread now, and I do think certain people have been unkind, but I am over it now, but I still haven't taken that test! I will post again when I do.

Misdee - I remember my +ve with dd. I was drunk.... it was 5 days BEFORE my AF was even due.... DH had fallen asleep on the sofa and I was bored. We weren't trying for a baby, but had stocked up on tests as we were going to start trying after Christmas.... this was 25th Nov. I had joined the TTC thread the week before.
Did the test, got a faint line and posted in disbelief on MN! I tested 8 times...all whilst on MN over the next 5 days until eventually someone said "FFS Toothache you're PREGNANT!".

misdee · 05/01/2006 12:09

pmsl toothache.

zenia · 05/01/2006 12:13

Zenia's not my real name, I got it from a packet of printer paper!!!! I have my ds off school, so can't get to the shops, I don't want to buy from our local, as someone may see me, (I wouldn't want anyone to know yet & my sis and all her friends live very close by, she always has her spies out). I may go round later when dh is back... and its dark...

KateMossinredredskinnypants · 05/01/2006 21:10

Good luck Zenia!
I am playing the waiting game too.
I play it every month, but I never talk about it because I feel so embarrassed.
GOOD LUCK

nadinetd · 06/01/2006 11:54

hi i wonder if anyone can give me some advice

my perios are always on time and never even a day late, my husband and i have been trying for a baby for 5 montsh now wiothout success.

the thing is my period is 10 days late, i have done 2 test say i am not pregnant the last one i did was today. i have not been stressed and i have never been late before, i eat a healthy diet and have maintained my weight for sometime,

has anyone else been this late and had a psoitive result at a later date i so want to be pregnant!!!

any advise appriciated xxxxx

colditz · 06/01/2006 11:56

nadine td, I had exactly this worry, and he is due in April! The reason it took so long to show was that I must have concieved immediatly before my period was due, so it took 2 weeks after it was due to show on a test!

nadinetd · 06/01/2006 12:02

thats what im hoping i have tried the first reponse test too and it still says no, my husband says he thinks we r but what do men know eh! fingers crossed x

hotmama · 06/01/2006 12:03

nadinetd - I had 2 negative tests before I tested positive - I am due in 3 weeks! So give it a few more days and test again - good luck xx

hotmama · 06/01/2006 12:05

Also, it is quite common to get false negatives but not false positives - there are loads of mners who have had -ve tests but were subsequently pregnant.

nadinetd · 06/01/2006 12:10

fingers crossed i have spoken to my sister and she didnt get a positive with her little girl till she was 17 days late so maybe thats why!

im so impatient though i wanmt to know now! ha ha

thanks for listening!
