Trying for number two is not proving as easy as number one so have being using an Ovulation Kit to try and narrow it down a bit but am not getting any sign of the hormone surge that happens at ovulation - has anybody tried these and any tips as to what I might be doing wrong as I now am getting a bit worried that I no longer ovulate, bit of a bizarre question for a Monday morning!

Well, there were definately two lines on the pregnancy test at the weekend so many thanks for your help and support. I'm a bit shocked still and off to find the threads about having babies close together............

The other thing I'm a bit worried about is flying to the US in 3 weeks time. I was pretty sick in the early part of my first pregnancy and am wondering how one copes on a long flight, anyone else done this?

Thanks again,

Love, Ouch (nearly 36!)

Congratulations, Ouch, a quick response!

Toasty, you kicked this off - how are things going for you?

Thought I'd provide an update too for anyone reading this thread (I was the Persona advocate back in October here..)
Must have conceived about two weeks after I wrote that, as am now 16 weeks pregnant!

Good luck everyone....

Hi. I am wanting to get an ovulation predictor to use in addition to FAM to prevent pregnancy. My doctor recommended Persona, since its cheaper than most drug store versions; however, I saw that there is another predictor machine, Clearblue ovulation predictor, and the strips are cheaper. With the clearblue system it says to check everyday....Has anyone heard of or used the clearblue system? Anyone know if it works the same?

I know this thread is old but I just thought I should let you know that, I'm not sure of the stats, but apparently the ovulation sticks don't work for a lot of women - I think it may be something to do with their hormone levels being too low to detect.

Anyway, I'm only saying this because I spent a fortune on them, was worried I wasn't ovulating and then got preg when, according to the sticks, I wasn't ovulating...
