the previous thread linked here has been a great comfort to those who have suffered with previous pregnancies that did not go to plan.

The last thread saw the progress through several successful pregnancies and I hope that this one might too.

Much handholding and support offered to all who need it.

Hi woolly good so far. Saw the gp yesterday and have been referred to the hospital, should hear within the week. Due date is March 7th, got that one wrong, but scan will say more I think. How are you?

OneBabyPlease · 20/07/2011 23:45

Hi Cheese - how are u doing??
And how's everyone else??

Had a consultant appt today, 22+2 now, all fine. Scanned me too which was lovely & booked me in for extra scans at 28 & 32 wks which I'm pleased about.

Feeling ridiculously tired but ok apart from that-just pleased it all seems ok so far! Can't believe we were lucky enough to end up with DS1 but actually starting to let myself believe DS2 will hopefully be with us in 16 wks! Pleeeeeeeease let it all be ok :0))

Hope everyone is alright, hang in there girls xx

OneBabyPlease · 29/07/2011 22:18

Was it something I said?!
Hope everyone's alright xx

OneBabyPlease · 27/08/2011 21:43

mrsrvc · 28/08/2011 10:48

Hey there! How is it going?
I had lost this thread and thought everyone had disapearred!
All ok here so far. Got 1st consultants apt on 7th Sept and vaguely considering a VBAC ( probably mad..)
Hows things with everyone else?
Rx 17+3

OneBabyPlease · 29/08/2011 10:41

Hey Mrs - great to hear from u - not sure where everyone else has gone, really hope they're all ok.
So pleased you're alright, good luck with your consultant appointment (can't offer any advice re VBAC as u know my abnormal craziness re natural childbirth, sunroof all the way again for me!!).
I'm 28 wks now-can't believe it-it is going so quickly this time. Still panicking everyday pretty much as just can't believe my luck, I'm huge this time & just hoping DS2 stays put until my C-Sec date! Can't help feeling this one is going to come early & it's terrifying me. Are u feeling ok Mrs?
I've got another scan on Friday, can't wait till then.

So pleased the thread is still alive!! Any lurkers please feel free to chip in - it was a bit lonely there for a while!

Hope you're all ok out there xxx

Just dropping in to wish you everyone all the luck in the world. It is 10 years since I was in your postition but I will never forget it. The days went so slowly as I ticked them off the calendar. The ten years since DS was born has passed quicker.

So best of luck to everyone.

Hynish · 30/08/2011 18:35

Today I am 7wks!!! I lost a baby 8 years ago and never got this far, so fingers crossed. It was hell last time. With a new partner now, so don't want to scare him with it. I am starting to calm down a little, starting to think that it may work. Its difficult though explaining to the doctor this is 2nd pregnancy but no children, makes it all come back.

OneBabyPlease · 03/09/2011 08:53

Oh phew-there are people around!!
Great to hear DS is doing so well Lunatic, lovely news & glad u have a happy baby like me! So sweet he released a balloon for Daisy-sure she's keeping an eye on her little brother xxx

Thanks for good luck wishes for everyone Henry - feel so lucky that we were finally blessed with DS1 after a struggle & just beside myself that DS2 is currently my precious cargo! Actually letting myself get a bit excited this time!

Welcome Hynish - how are u doing? Good luck - lots of space here to voice your worries etc - hope it all goes well for u.

Had my 28 wk scan yesterday-all good, DS2 is currently 2lb 11 - about average, I was hoping for about 9lb to explain why I'm so huge this time! Lol!

Really freaking out that he's gonna arrive early-got SEVERE vaginal birth fear & so worried he won't stay put till my C-sec. With the drugs I'm on for my bloodclotting disorder an unexpected C-sec might prove a bit tricky. Need reassurance from consultant when I see him nxt week!

Take care all xxx

Hi im still lurking, glad to see this thread (new one) still going, congrats on all the births and newly awaiting fingers crossed for you all :)

I have also like wolly been giving my baby stuff away as not needed now (can't believe d is now 1, how time flies) but am feeling rather broody, I would love another but dh doesn't want another :(
I will still be a lurker on here, don't get chance to post much as things are hectic here.

Take care all xx

mrsrvc · 08/09/2011 22:10

Hi Lovely ladies.
Sorry I am so rubbish at posting regularly. Ds is very busy and so is work which just doesnt leave much time for anything else.
Had consultants apt yesterday and we all decided that infact an elective c section would be calmer all round. I am glad that I have been through the thought process though.
Also found out that after two boys, this is a pink bump! Very much in shock..
Lunatic, lovely to hear from you. So sweet about the balloon xx
Kcoffin, lovely to hear from you too! Shame you cant persuade dh..
Onebaby, well dome for letting yourself get excited. I am still a way off that. NOt long left for you now though! Very exciting.
Love to everyone else.

Nordicmom · 10/09/2011 12:10

Hi everyone! I'm new here but would love to join you guys on this thread. I've got one DS 6,5 y and have been trying for another now for 4 y . I've had 10 early miscarriages and now we are going about it a different way . Our American surrogate is pregnant 6w 4d! We got a heartbeat on wed so should be happy but tearful instead I guess preparing for the impending doom :( can't help it. I just wish this could finally be it but feel very pessimistic and totally out of control since it's not even me carrying our baby ...

OneBabyPlease · 20/09/2011 19:15

Hi everyone
Great to hear from u kcoffin, glad all is well.
And you too Mrs - lovely news re pink bump!
Welcome Nordic - wow, you've really been through it, no wonder you feel anxious. Hope the surrogate is the answer to all your prayers - how is it going?
I saw an awful registrar instead of my consultant who was trying to force me to the VBAC clinic-I freaked out, he spoke to my consultant who told him to write me up for a C-Sec. I was hysterical, awful. I've written a letter complaining about him & asking to see my consultant next time :0(
All ok apart from that but feeling quite unsettled about it all now.
Hope everyone else is well xx

OneBabyPlease · 13/11/2011 12:38

I don't think anyone is around on here anymore but just incase anyone is, our beautiful DS2 was born on Mon 7th. After about 6 years of trying & 3 miscarriages we are unbelievably blessed with 2 amazing boys.
Keep hoping & trying everyone, I wish u all the luck in the world xxx

Tarlia · 13/11/2011 12:54
