Most newsagents sell them, spar shops, corner shops etc. Scampi fries? Do you mean scampi AND fries? Or are they actually scampi fries? What is scampi anyway????

Renaissance227 · 08/04/2011 11:41

These are scampi fries...

craving macdonalds hamburgers atm.

Melly19MummyToBe · 08/04/2011 14:41

oooooooh yeah I get it now. I tried those once. Didn't like them :o

Renaissance227 · 08/04/2011 14:45

They're like Marmite, love it or hate it. Just can't get enough at the min. No idea why!! Smile

Scampy fries are just so WRONG!! The bacon ones on the other hand? mmm

I had a thing for Dandelion and Burdock, Prawn cocktail crisps, Fizzy jellied sweets (Natural Sweet Co, fizzy squirms were the favourite but I'd take any sort at a pinch) and Fruit Pastel ice lollies. I think being pregnant has made me have a 2nd childhood! I never really had the salty carbs cravings everyone else seems to get though and the only burger I succumbed too made me violently ill so that put me off a bit.

Melly19MummyToBe · 08/04/2011 14:56

God I really want some strawberries and cream. NOW. Really can't be arsed to walk to co-op though. My shoulders killing me again Hmm I have RSI in my right shoulder muscles and it's damn painful. It even hurts to walk sometimes. And theres bugger all anyone can do about it.

Do you think my cider lollies idea would work? I thought it was quite good :o

Melly19MummyToBe · 08/04/2011 14:59

Apparantly if you crave sweet things you're having a girl. I can't get enough sweet things, and I'm having a girl. She's going to be called Poppy-possibly Louise.

:)

IllanaN · 08/04/2011 15:05

This thread has really made me smile (and hungry) :) fancy mcdonalds for starter, chips and curry for main and asda rocket icelollys for desert :O Blush

Melly19MummyToBe · 08/04/2011 15:07

Well, when I say Poppy-possibly Louise, I mean Poppy-Louise. Not Poppy or Louise. We're just debating the Louise part.

Renaissance227 · 08/04/2011 15:10

That's a lovely name Melly

That sounds perfect to me IllanaN

another ice lollie addict here, craving twister lollies, only problem is i can only find them in tesco in the family packs with magnums mini milks and cornettos so i get a box of 8 lollies with only 2 twisters in Angry DH and DC are happy though they are getting to have the ones i refuse to eat!

LittleMilla · 08/04/2011 18:31

Forgot to add on my crisp list that frazzles are featuring quite heavily. I am a crisp ADDICT, in case you hadn't guessed.

I'm craving sweet and savory, no idea what we're having. Perhaps a hermaphordite (sp)?

Off for a cuzza tonight...cannot WAIT! Going to go hard, a spicy curry and loads of popadoms - which are my absolute fave. I love them. Mmmmmm Grin

Melly19MummyToBe · 08/04/2011 18:42

lol hermaphrodite :o if your baby does turn out to be one, I apologize and take back the lol.

Thank you Renaissance, the name Poppy just came to me one night and hasn't gone away :) DP eventually came round to the idea, but only if it was double-barralled, and he likes the name Louise, so it'll probably be that!

Gosh I haven't had a proper decent curry for aaaaaaaaaages. I could just devour one right now.

LittleMilla · 08/04/2011 18:48

Melly my DH's favourite name for a girl is Poppy...I also think it's gorgeous!

Go for the curry, you know it'll be lush!

rocketleaf · 08/04/2011 19:02

I love the name Poppy but a couple of friends have used it already so its out.

I really want a curry now, not the quiche and salad I am going to have :( Have to make up for it with Caramel Eggs for dessert :o

Melly19MummyToBe · 08/04/2011 20:55

I ended up having spam fritter and chips for tea :) I got over the curry craving as soon as I smelt the fish and chip shop :o

lolajane2009 · 09/04/2011 16:45

anyone idea how to cure a craving without eating the food. been craving Maccydees for three days now.

PenguinArmy · 09/04/2011 17:01

I'm not given into my Maccydees yet, but as other poster helpfully pointed out, that's because it contains animal products Grin Mind is winning over matter atm

Melly19MummyToBe · 09/04/2011 17:05

That would be me :o although I'm not convinced the burger cheese is actually cheese. I swear it's plastic. . . .

I have no idea how to cure a crave. Aside from actually eating it. Maybe just do what Penguin says, 'mind over matter'.

PenguinArmy · 09/04/2011 17:07

If I had, it would be without cheese Grin

lolajane2009 · 09/04/2011 17:11

lol i would havee to have it minus cheese too as cheese gives me terrible migraines. Craving it so much I was sitting here rocking back and forth in frustration.

growing3rdbump · 09/04/2011 17:46

chopped oranges with frozen raspberries is my current fancy. If all out of oranges I am managing to consume frozen raspberries by the bowlful!

sleepybump · 09/04/2011 22:22

Most of the things everyone's mentioned here made me feel really queezy! (especially MacDonalds, bleh!) - I have Waaay more aversions than cravings. I had three days of humous craving, couldn't get enough of the stuff then went straight off it, and now I am mostly surviving on apple juice, ice cold pints of milk, muller rice and loads of fresh fruit (though I am still eating the necessaries, just not really enjoying them).

I'm usually a suger-junky I seem to have switched bad sugar for 'real' fruity sugar! how healthy can I get?!

sleepybump · 09/04/2011 22:25

Frozen raspberries - now That's a great idea...
