Ladies I have developed an addiction to cake...not just any cake either, home made cake! Today's cake made by my own fair hands is vanilla and hazelnut. Yumm yumm yumm :o Tomorrow i'm making tea loaf - the fruit is soaking in the fridge now.

But what should I make next?

Yes, skorpion! Nothing with DS, and pre DS really. But Lord, when I was pg with DD at the ripe old age of 38, oh my goodness.

And 5 years on, I still have that sweet tooth. Not Good.

Yes! I've been making cakes from this mix 'n' match list (vegan here) and have a slice of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting waiting for me at my desk here. It is ace.

I wondered if it's to do with not boozing? I'm usually a beer drinker, and beer's basically all fermented sugar, so maybe it's my way of trying to make up for all the missing sugar I'd usually be pouring down my gullet?

skorpion I have been craving cake and chedar cheese so what am I going to have?

Joanne, cheddar cheese and apple pie is a classic combination and tastes brilliant. Not quite cake but might appease the cravings?

Very happy to see a baking thread, I am an avid baker and have been all my life pretty much - I even made an iphone cookie baking app with my DP! :)

Anyhow, I found this lemon cake recipe online and made it the other week twice, it is sooooo good, and worth doing the glaze and icing for lots of extra flavour:
