My GP picked up on high BP a couple of weeks ago along with a bit of swelling in my ankles. Asked me to come back for anoter BP check the following week (Thurs), a trainee said my BP was back to normal...(wasn't convinced as I had high BP in Feb too).

By Saturday I had clown feet and was admitted to hospital. BP checked at its highest 160/98 (early pregnany I was 100/60).
Stayed overnight and been prescribed pills to lower my BP, it as gone down but last read was starting to creep back up again.

Have to go to the hospital tomorrow and Thurs to get it checked again.

I'm 36+3, what are the chances of me being induced? x

Sweep done, hurt 10 times more than I expected and nothing :( Induction date is Wednesday 6th so I will be twiddling my thumbs until then.

Blood pressure is now at 140/80 on the lebetalol, sounds to me like the effect isn't as good - especially now the clown feet are staring to reappear!! x

Wanted to wish you guys luck. I too am a pre eclampsia surviour.

I was admitted at 37 weeks after a routine MW appointment. Induction started at 37+4 when my condition began to deteriorate, (they had hoped to hold on until 38 weeks. DS was born 37+5 very healthy and 6lb6oz - he is now 7 weeks and is catching up (and over taking!?) with his peers weighing in at a whopping 10lb3oz at 6 weeks.

Sorry your sweep hurt, I found that too and was told it was because the cervix were not soft and ready as it was early. Relax as much as you can as this can greatly reduce the risk of your condition worsening in the meantime.
