I just feel so awful, constant nausea, vomiting and shivering. Has anyone tried b6 supplements and did it work at all?

Sorry you're having this, didn't work for me but maybe it's different for everyone

The only thing for me that worked was eating constantly and boiled sweets. I hope you don't suffer too much longer

So sorry you're feeling so awful -it's the pits.

I was prescribed these for my first pregancy (where I ended up two stone lighter after giving birth than when I fell pregnant and I started at a healthy weight!) they didn't work for me, but we're all diferent and they apparenly DO work for some women so worth a try?

But, seriously, visit your GP. There are a few very safe medications they can presribe you when things start to be truly awful - if you're not coping there's no need to suffer alone or without at least trying some meds. If your doctor is particuarly 'old school' and tells you to effectively get on with it, see another doctor in the practice!

Hope you feel better soon - how many weeks are you?

7 weeks. This is my fifth pregnancy as well but the only other one that seemed quite so bad was ds3! Roll on week 12!

They worked for me! I was still sick 2 times a day or so, but they took care of the nausea which I found to be the most debilitating part. It was so liberating not to feel crap all the time and to only feel sick for 5 mins or so before I was sick. I look one before bed (very important one), one when I woke and one at about lunchtime.

If you feel anything like I did it is worth giving anything a try. Good luck!

It really helped me. I took a couple of tablets I think. My my pee strong, but definitely helped, as did cutting out all refined sugar.

Sorry you are feeling so awful.

I am also suffering badly (6 + 3) and have been prescibed cyclizine which, to be honest, isn't really doing much. I have read about combining with B6 but aren;t sure of the dose? I know 100mg per day is max dose - anyone know what amount may work but still be safe?
