Baby gyms - yay or nay?

Hi

I have seen some gorgeous baby gyms but wondered if they were useful and worth the money? Which ones would you suggest?

Sorry for the slight thread hijack...

Those with babies that love baby gyms... When did they start to love them?

My DD is 4 months and really hates hers, should I just pit it away or is there still a chance for change? Lol
