If your transverse baby turned, how many weeks were you? Did you do anything to help?

I'm 28+6 today, baby determinedly transverse.
I know, I know, lots of time to turn, supposedly.

MW reckons that in 3 weeks time (31wk appt) baby will have turned (one way or the other) & someone else told me that as baby gets too big to be comfy sideways, it will turn.

So, if your transverse baby turned, how many weeks pregnant were you?
Had you done anything/tried anything to make it turn?
If so, what?

at 34 weeks by baby hadn't turned then by 36 week appointment he'd turned...didn't do anything :)

I'm in the same dilemma. 34weeks on Saturday and nothing. Since I have no community mw just mw checks every 6 weeks at hospital with my previous baby being a gem but induced with colistatus. Now this little boy is head to the left. Feet higher at the right n just won't budge. Used yoga ball. All four position. Sleeping side sways in bed. Nothing. Really a c section can't be an option for me :/ really panicking xxx

Thought this was a zombie thread but glad I scrolled down-Hannah I had this with my second, and got him to turn pretty late.If you google spinning babies and go to their site they have a section on things to turn a transverse baby.I did these and managed to get him in the right position.Be warned some are a bit odd-my husband was very confused to come in to find me sitting back to front and upside down on a chair one night!- and make sure to follow the timing and sit up very slowly so it doesn't make your head spin!I will definitely be using it again this time if baby is being awkward, midwives were quite impressed I'd got him to move! Also some really useful info on there for different labour situations that I got my DH to read beforehand and some of which was very useful for us.
Good luck!Grin

My baby was alternating from breech to transverse right up until my 37 week scan when I felt her flip around the night before! Im 39+4 and she's firmly head down now :)

Thankyou for the reassurance ladies :) just worse scenario I'm thinking is what If a c section was offered. I refused to see if he turned and he doesn't. Then if went into labour. Would be kinda an emergency c section and be too overwelming to get my head around.

I'm more reassured though that he's just comfortable ATM and will turn in his own time. X

They gave me a positioning scan at 37 weeks to avoid that scenario, so don't worry too much.

I'm almost 36 weeks and baby is changing position regularly. He was mostly breech but now seems to favour the transverse/oblique. I've been told I'll have a scan if he's not head down at my appointment this week. My last dc was breech till about 35 weeks.

My daughter was transverse at the 31 week appointment - midwife totally unconcerned and told me chances were that she'd turn - she did at 34 weeks and it was v uncomfy but she stayed that way until delivery
