6 weeks pregnant - got pains?

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and last night/this morning have had pains in my stomach - if i go to see my dr is there anything he can do or will he just tell me to relax?

what kind and where are they?

if they are sharp pains down low they are ligament pains as cod says

They're down one side (right) and keep coming and going. Not really stabbing pain but painful nonetheless!

Agree re ligament stretching - I thought I could have an ectopic pregnancy I was sooo tender. If you are really worried ring your GP etc for peace of mind.

can my dr actually do anything or give me anything or is it a case of just waiting till they stop?

You can take paracetamol when pregnant so this may help. To be honest I think it is a case of bearing it - they do get better. However, if you start bleeding and/or they get really painful ring your GP just in case it is an ectopic pregnancy - don't be overly worried though - I still think it is ligament stretching.

Agree with the ligament stretching diagnoses. I also had pain coz in early days pg a cyst forms near ovary and sometimes that causes discomfort on one side. By all means go see your doc for some reassurance - a good gp will be happy to put your mind at rest.

I woke up with bad stomach cramps early dis morning and was on toliet with diarrhoea however u spell it lol. i also feel tired all the time. i also feel sick in the morning and basically every nite. i had had a headache for like 5 days on the day i got the sickness everytime i eat i bloat quick and feel sick.I Also Got Stretchmarks On My Sides And Boobs But My Boobs Aint Tender. Please Help i also get light headed could i be preg ???? :D x x x
