Sorry but what is the deal with this?! My DS is 3yrs3mths and we've had him in pants for three months now. Virtually every day he does 2-3 skidd marks in his pants through the morning. After lunch I get him to sit on the potty till 'the big one' comes and usually it does. Some times it doesn't and he continues letting little bits out till bath time when he sits for a long time agian and it will come.
He's generally good with tinkeys (wees) though put him in a social situation and I litterally have to restle him to the toilets to prevent accidents.
Is there anything to be done about the poos and am I still trying to control the accidents with tinkeys too much, and should I be letting him have accidents?

Some dcs take longer to get the hang of poos, especially boys I think. (I have several friends with boys and because they stand to wee they get less opportunity to sit still and wait for a poo)

With my dds we sat them on the loo (they often like to have a book/small toy) after meals, especially breakfast. Give them a bit of peace and privacy if possible. Some respond well to stickers/choc buttons if a poo happens.

I know this bit is hard, but if you are keen for him to try for a poo and he is resistant, you have to try your best not to put the pressure on.
