Yesterday for the first time in over two weeks, he wet his pull-up pants. Then today after getting him settled in bed, he was standing with clean pants in his hand with the wet ones behind his bedroom door.

Any idea why he would suddenly be wetting himself after being dry all that time (day and night)?

He will use the potty when he needs it, but will occasionally still need prompting at times.

Nothing eventful has happened over the past couples of days, just the usual mundane stuff so am a bit puzzled as to why he's now doing this.

Has anyone else had experience of this from their toddler? He is 3.2yo btw.

if he's anything like my DD, the novelty has worn off and he's worked out that it's less hassle not to be potty trained! we introduced rewards (namely chocolate buttons ) to get her back on track and it seems to be working so far. It does still go wrong when she's tired though.

he's now starting to say 'no' when prompted to use potty so have to coax him by saying he'll get a treat later after dinner if he does well. DH going down the 'I'll take a toy off you if you don't stay dry' route which I've said isn't the way to go about it. We should only be commenting on positive behaviour not negative! Will see how the next few days go...thanks for replying diamonsandtiaras - hope you are on the right track with your DD. it must be a novely thing for them!
