When To Start Potty Training?

My DD is nearly 7 months, and I always considered this to be far to young to start potty training.

HOWEVER, almost everytime I sit her in her Bumbo she does a poo, so I wondered if it was worth a try of sitting her on a potty, just to start the suggestion of it to her.

Obviously I don't expect her to be out of nappies anything like soon, but I wonder if it was worth 'planting the seed'.

Thoughts please.

you could try and put her on the potty, but she may well lose interest once she becomes mobile.

If you want to try a bit of poo catching elimination communication then try sitting your lo on the potty after waking or after meals. You stand a good chance of catching something.

However I did this with my daugher and now she has totally lost interest. Cie la vie! However it is much nicer cleaning out a potty than cleaning a dirty bum!
