My dd is 2.9 yr old-she has been totally day-dry for over three weeks now and is using her potty almost independently- we haven't had any accidents for several days now. She goes to nusery all day mon and tues and again fri mornings and doesn't seem to be getting on very well there-we haven't had a nursery day with less than 3 accidents and it's usually more like 4 or 5.
She has proved to on several occasions that she can ask for the toilet and use a big toilet when were out and about with me holding her. She definatley holds her wees and poos til we get to a loo/potty with me almost every time. She is also brilliant at grandma's house and Even at play groups and at friends houses she has come in from playing outside or upstairs with her buddies and asked for a wee with no prompting from me, so i know she can do it. i have aksed th nursery to be more vigilant and give her lots of opportunities to go but I am still fairly unsatisfied with her progress there-should I be doing more or should I even be concerned-is it nornal for kids to do this when they are toilet training? Is the fault likely to be with the nursery staff not ding enough?

She could be too engrossed in the business of nursery, they should be asking her more tho as she can be dry.

yeah if it was a case of distraction I am wondering why that does't happen when we are at playgroup or when she is playing with friends. She is fine there and takes herself out of to come ask me. Thankyou

Am wondering if they are able to take her straight away when she asks or if she is put off/forgotten till she bursts?

My dd did this too. The nursery suggested I bring in her potty for a few days, and she had no more accidents. Brought it in for 3 days and then she was fine after that. Good luck.
