DD1, who is 26 months has The Pox. I was already thinking about trying potty training anyway at some point soon...so should i go for it now whilst we are stuck in the house?

We did try it a couple of months ago but tbh i was 37 wks pg and just couldn't cope with the effort of it all plus it was all on her terms - she had a tantrum if i even suggested the potty but was happy enough to use it if it was her idea....i think a few months on, some bribery with stickers might just work...

what do you wise ladies think?

I think trying to introduce something new and potentially stressful would be wrong to do while she is unwell. Even if she seems bright enough it she'll be more tired because she's fighting of the pox and that will impead her "getting" potty training.
We went to the park and the shops and things when ours had the pox. As long as there's plenty of space around the poxy child personally I think its fine to be out.

Could try once the spots have stopped itching & are healing. Oats in a sock in the bath really helped with itching.
