DS just seems to wee constantly!

I have just started my 3rd attempt to potty train my DS. Just as with the last 2 times, he seems to have no idea when he needs to wee. He is over 3, and I feel I should stick to it, but he has literally done about 8 wees this morning already and shown no indication that he knows what he has done. Also, do I keep taking him to the potty every 30 minutes even after he has just weed?
Any advice would be gratefully received!!

Has he got pants on or a bare bottom? Cos I'd say a bare bottom when in house is deffinatly a good thing.

He was wearing pants, but he got through them and I resorted to pull-ups (didn't want to, but I can't face the puddles and I have a 9 month old who is just starting to crawl). He has now managed 2 wees on the potty, but I am running out of bribes and he is just refusing to sit.

My Ds is 2 and 7 months and was telling us before he did a pooh and went on the toilet but is the same as yours in that he has no idea about weeing at all. Not much help sorry but watching this thread with interest!

We've sort of started again with pt with our DS (who's 3 tommorrow). The first time we did it we put him in pants from the get go. We all found it a fairly stressful experience and gave up after two weeks. Which was probably too soon to quit but there we go.
A few days ago we had an afternoon of him going on the potty loads (pulling down his pull up nappy) and this has continued whenever we are home. He's doing it for the sweety rewards mostly but I don't really care at the moment. Because we didn't make any concsious decision to begin pt we all feel alot more relaxed about it.
I'm hoping that he will naturally progress with this while still wearing the pull ups. We'll move to pants when he's regularly clean and dry.
This may make the whole process a bit more drawn out but right now its whats right for us.

helloo hollygolightlyiwish (ps great nickname) sadly can give no advice as you have simply written down what's happening in my house as well! only to say my little girl 2yrs10mths will not sit on the potty, just wants to wear the pants and wee everywhere. we are on day 5 and no progress and fed up hearing how easy other peoples children were to train! we all have cabin fever and thinking of giving it up for a while.
good luck and will read other comments with great interest!
